Mandinga recently completed a successful summer tour that included dozens of live concerts throughout Romania, Azerbaijan, Italy and Greece. Now that they have time to breathe, the group has released their latest video for “Papi Chulo”. Shot in Baku and on the beaches of Dia island near Crete, “Papi Chulo” continues the story of “Zaleilah”: the ring that washed ashore at the end of that video is now picked up by Cuban band member El Niño, who starts courting the beautiful Elena (aka Eurovisions’s Next Top Model 2012). Go Mandinga! I’m happy they managed their Eurovision appearance so wise and successfully, in the same time. I really like the mixture of Romanian- Balcanic – Latino rhythms and instruments in their music.
