We’re all about borrowing from MTV. Their annual Video Music Awards (VMAs) gave us inspiration for our inaugural Valentina Monetta Awards (also VMAs), and Miley Cyrus’ twerked-out performance inspired this post. But apparently the road between MTV and Eurovision works both ways. The following photo mash-up posted on the Eurovision Questions Facebook page suggests that MTV’s people take plenty of inspiration from Eurovision. It seems that ESC angles lead to VMA angles and that curving ESC runways lead to curving VMA runways! Coincidence or what?
