Over the past week a lot of you managed to vote in our Slovenia Eurovision poll, despite the fact national broadcaster RTVSLO complained about copyright claims and yanked the videos of the seven finalists from YouTube. A grand total of 340 votes were cast during the week. So well done to y’all!
A whopping 39.71% of you voted for Tinkara Kovach and her song “Spet/Round and Round”. She trounced the (unfortunately named) second placed finishers Muff, who earned 20.29% for their number “Let Me Be (Myself)”. Will these two top the results during tonight’s EMA selection in Slovenia?
As we mentioned, none of the entries are currently online. So you’ll have to tune in to tonight’s show via Eurovision.tv to hear Tinkara’s entry. It was co-written by last year’s Slovenian Eurovision representative Hannah Mancini, who competed with “Straight Into Love”.
Last week it emerged that Tinkara has got herself an unlikely supporter: Giant Slalom and (joint) Downhill Winter Olympic champion Tina Maze! You don’t have to speak Slovenian to understand bravo!

And as predicted, Tinkara won and Muff were second 😀
Muff or Omar have the best credible songs for an international audience … but Slovenia will vote conservatively and send the rather bland but safe offering by Tinkara only to probably find it gets lost in Copenhagen and probably end up just outside qualification for the final … good luck to all anyway
I think Omar and also Muff is best
I think that “Let me be (Myself)” by Muff is the best song among these!
Unfortunately, “Spet” echoes part of Lithuania’s “Attention” in the same semifinal — “I’m gonna [make] you [da da da]”
