Patrick: What a show! Amazing! I really thought that Conchita Wurst would do a fabulous job, but this is a masterpiece! This performance deserves to go straight to the final. The staging really brings this song’s touching message into sharper focus. I really don’t need a performance full of motion and acrobatics. What I can hear is fantastic, but I was expecting that. Thank you, Conchita – well done!
Wiwi: Conchita Wurst wants to Rise Like a Phoenix. So it’s only appropriate that she was srrounded by digital flames during her first rehearsal. Conchita’s voice was stellar and she looked fantastic in a hip-hugging black sequin dress. My favourite camera sequence comes when she launches into the final chorus. The entire screen turns a fiery orange and I can feel the heat! There’s also another great shot from behind where you see Conchita’s rear and the audience. YASSSS!

If it was purely about quality, Austria would win in a landslide.
I think that she/he (Conchita) has a fantastic chance of winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. All prejudice aside, Conchita Wurst is an outstanding singer with an exceptional vocal range. The song is also extremely powerful. Well done Austria. THE VERY BEST OF LUCK.
Also Conchita, do NOT listen to the haters and those that mock your image. Bite your tongue and you know better. 🙂

Congrats to all those who managed to hear her voice from this clip… it was all echo and reverb to me 😉
Anyway, just the idea of the dark beginning seems as if all our prayers have been heard! Go Conchita!!
