Spoiler alert! Pasha Parfeny is shot dead while listening to his Eurovosion 2012 hit “Lautar” at the end of the Russian language feature film “Ohotnik” (The Hunter), the first thriller produced in Moldova.

The Moldovan hunk follows in the footsteps of Moldovan beauty Aliona Moon, who also found movie stardom after Eurovision last year.

“The Hunter”, a low-budget action thriller about a double murder, premiered in Chisinau on Thursday. However, don’t get your hopes up! “The Hunter” is a labour of love and is unlikely to screen outside Moldova, sadly. Lead actress Lusia Andriuta even joked that, due to financial constraints, the staff’s pay was a bowl of borscht. Pasha Parfeny, on the other hand, was very grateful to be given this opportunity and expressed his wish to act again. Hollywood is waiting with baited breath, Pasha!

You can see more images from the film (including Pasha’s infamous death scene) as well as from the movie premiere here.

This is great! He’s got the Hollywood face of Ed Norton & Colin Farrel! Best of luck to him. Hope he does more movies in the future and sing their soundtracks too!
