The Voice of Armenia is a playground for the country’s Eurovision royalty—and over the weekend it saw another star get in on the mix. Aram Mp3, Armenia’s Eurovision 2014 singer, posed as a contestant auditioning with the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s World.” Naturally his voice was on point and full of soul, which compelled Sona, one of the judges, to press her button immediately after she heard his first note. She was followed by “Apricot Stone” singer Eva Rivas (Eurovision 2010) and “Anytime You Need” singer Hayko (Eurovision 2007).
His performance was one highlight. Another was Eva Rivas’ reaction. At one point she appears to be riding her chair like it’s a horse!
What do you think of Aram’s performance?
Wowzers that’s amazing! Thing is we all know he’s amazing, and Not Alone was unquestionably my fave this year, but if ONLYYY he performed as well as this in Copenhagen! I think the nerves got to him!
I was gutted he didn’t win (as much as I love Conchita) because i forced my boyfriend to watch Eurovision this year and the only reason he agreed was Aram’s song and he still listens to it now! And I mean, this is a rugby-playing beer type who ended up loving Eurovision hahaha!!

Aram isn’t actually competing. He was just pretending to be a contestant.
I think that’s weird that we saw some past Eurovision participants are participating in The Voice. They should be “national heroes” in ex-Soviet states at all! First, Dilara, she had a great luck with Eurovision but couldn’t use it – she prefered a “Voice contest” at the starting of her professional career, but it wasn’t that weird as Aram’s because she came from a national final etc. But Aram choosen internally, gave his country their best result again and so… It looks ridiculous see him as a contestant in a talent show. We already know that he got the talent?… Read more »
Wooooooooow !! How much talent this guy has hah ? ?
