Trijntje Oosterhuis — aka Traincha — revealed her Eurovision 2015 song “Walk Along” on December 11 — and within minutes Eurofans were chanting, “Why, why-ai-ai-ai.” It’s a catchy song, but one with a story. The “Walk Along” lyrics speak of a woman in love with a man who just doesn’t seem to care: “I open up my heart to you/ Cry for your attention/ Still you haven’t seen it yet…” It seems that the only solution for her is to have him “walk along, walk along…” We’ve all been there, babe.
You can listen to the song and read the text below.

WALK ALONG LYRICS — Trijntje Oosterhuis (Eurovision Netherlands)
I open up my heart to you
I cry for your attention
Still you haven’t seen it yet
You only see me as a friend
But I wish you were waiting
With roses at sunset
Why, why-ai-ai-ai
Why-ai-ai-ai
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
Why, why-ai-ai-ai
Why-ai-ai-ai
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
Gentley smile passing your way
It’s not that I don’t try
But you don’t even notice me
In another time and place,
Another lifetime maybe
If only for a little while
Why, why-ai-ai-ai
Why-ai-ai-ai
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
Why, why-ai-ai-ai
Why-ai-ai-ai
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
Why
I don’t seem to get you
To look at me one time
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
This is not a little crush
Don’t wanna wait in line
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
Whoo-hooo
Whoo-hooo
I love you, I love you
Ba-by.
Whoo-hooo
Whoo-hooo
If only for a little while
Why, why-ai-ai-ai
Why-ai-ai-ai
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
Why?
Why?
Why, why-ai-ai-ai
Why-ai-ai-ai
Won’t you walk along, walk along
Baby
I love you, I love you
ba-by
Keep the groove in the song and use the clip elements in black and white on stage. A solid eurovision entry!
perfect ..still my favourite
Hated it at first listen… but this will do incredibly well this year I think. Netherlands has found their groove I think by always being the most unique sound.
Cool 🙂
And what a nice birthday present for myself 🙂
Catchy as it gets. Loving it more and more as it plays on repeat.
