Team Wiwi was cheering “Benissimo!” over and over tonight as we watched the first night of Sanremo 2015. Filled with both ballads and upbeat songs, Sanremo will no doubt deliver an amazing song for Vienna. Sadly, only one of twenty acts will be chosen.
Sanremo isn’t just unique for its songs: its also unique for its scoring system, which keeps fans guessing. At the end of the show the judges reveal the Top 6 acts and the Bottom 4 acts. However, the acts are presented randomly so you don’t know their precise placement within their group. Anything is still possible as the festival continues. Even so, for the bottom 4 we are left saying “Che pietà”. So who’s up and who’s down? Read on…
