This year at Eurovision the men dominate the odds. Out of the top ten acts in the odds at the moment, only two are solo female acts (Russia and Iceland) and neither of them are in the top three. But have no fear! We still know that there are tons of talented women in this year’s Eurovision. What we don’t know is: Who is the best female vocalist of Eurovision 2015?

Currently the top five consists of four solo men and a male-female duet (Estonia’s Elina & Stig). Sitting pretty in sixth place is Russia’s Polina Gagarina, who made (almost) all of us go gaga. But there are also some amazing women further down the oddstable, like Serbia’s Bojana Stamenov and Malta’s Amber.

[polldaddy poll=8831983]

So, what do you think? Who is the best female vocalist this year? Is it Elina, Polina, or maybe even Leonor? Europe, start voting now!

Please note that we are purposely not including Belarus’ Maimuna, as she is not a vocalist.

Vote in all of our polls here.

I am sorry but Maria Elena has one of the best voices in this competition! I have been looking through the Internet and a lot of people are comparing her to Celine Dion, another great vocalist. They both have very powerful voices! Edurne is great as well but her voice is softer. Russia is also a great vocalist too.

Georgians with all due repsect you have a great singer representing you but seriously stop all this hatered towards malta, this just shows us that 1) you are sore losers and always will be, we have always been good friends with the people representing georgia in the eurovision and will always be but come on Nina dosen’t even wan’t to listen to Amber’s song because she is focused on her song only. I d’like to know if she listened to any other eurovision songs or if she will leave the builiding when it’s amber’s turn to rehearse. It’s time you… Read more »

So did we Albanians hacked those achievements?? You are pretty ridiculous!! This chick has an extraordinary voice…Demi Lovato and Ellie Goulding can’t hold a candle to her!! Just… Read more »

Do you really think that only Georgians support Nina Sublatti? I am from Germany and I really like her ! She is a talented young woman, who has a great voice and unique way to express herself. Dont forget she is only 20 . What I also like abot her, is that she is also a songwriter. I wish, she would win ESC 2015 ! My 12 points go to Georgia 🙂

God stupid Georgians. I’m betting Wiwi will give Nina’s song at least an 8+ ( if not a 9 ) since she’s sharing almost all of the articles about her on Facebook. Wiwi themselves even replied to one of her Facebook posts.

Edurne isn’t that good. Really, believe me. Her voice sounds really nice, but it’s not that extraordinary. Voices of Trijntje, Elhaida and Bojana are much, much better.

In my opinion:

3- Molly Sterling – what a sweetheart. lovely voice
2- Elina Born – nice to listen to and really fitting the song
1- Elhaida Dani – absolutely exceptional, one of a kind

Well for those who follow Amber’s recent live performances in Moscow, London and even local ones know Amber stepped up her game in terms of vocals. Under the guidance of vocal coach Gillian, Malta is bound to impress

Read more »

Why are people complaining about Nina winning the poll? Her acoustic version was amazing! Still do not know how Tamar is not the highest Genealogy member…she is the only one who can sing!

I voted for Maria (Iceland). I feel like Maria’s voice makes the song her own; it would not have the same sense of character if it were sung by just any female vocalist. With most of the power ballads this year, the singers are impressive, but you could swap vocalists and the song would be just as good.

Polina, without a doubt. The fact that she’s smoking hot doesn’t hurt either… Too bad the song is far below her potential…

There are many great voices this year, female and male alike. I voted for Polina, Elhaida, Lisa and Aminata. If I had to choose one, I would say Monika from Poland is the most vocally challenged.

It’s not all about screaming, range or high notes. It’s also about color and warm. Elhaida’s voice just brightens your day . 🙂
