William: The sun is rising in “Amanecer” and it’s also rising for Edurne. The Spanish songstress slayed during her second rehearsal. This feels tighter, sleeker, and sexier. The opening LEDs and camera angles create more drama, particularly the watery bubbles which at times flow in the direction of Edurne’s swaying body. When her backing dancer Giuseppe rips off her red cape it comes as more of a surprise. And what a surprise it is: She revealed a shinier dress that invokes sunshine, the Spanish Golden Age and sprawling empire. Giuseppe also shows us the results of his special Eurovision diet: He goes shirtless as he lifts, spins, and thrusts Edurne into the air. The lighting goes dark during this sequence. It adds mystery and drama and totally elevates the sequence.

Titanium sparrow you will on Saturday. It’s far from cheap.
I can’t say more until the final rehearsal is revealed
A fantastic song ruined with a cheap performance. At least she sounds great live.
I love Spain, I love Spanish people and music…. todas las cosas me gustan!!
Now that I have found love in Spain, “mi corazón me susurro” have a whole new meaning for me and I will give my precious votes to Spain…..
Besos!

Came here, as a frequent Edurne basher in these comments, to eat crow. She’s singing great now.
I don’t know if I’m a big fan of the staging (shirt back on, please, Charles Atlas) but she’s now kicking some vocal butt, just as her fans have been promising.
Not necessarily my favourite this year (I like Malta, for instance, better), and I certainly loved Ruth Lorenzo so much more (my favourite), also Pastora, but I can see this as a winning performance and I wouldn’t mind if this happens
Winner?! Should and most probably will place higher than last year!
Eurovision should give a chance to the south with a song in native language bringing the mix of cultures to eurovision.
GO EDURNE
GO IBERIAN GODNESS!
You can make it!!
Edurne is amazing … it is actually working very strong performance this year Spain deserved to win !! please vote in Spain! Eurovision next year be held on Spanish soil! Barcelona 2016 !!
Edurne and the singer from Greece could be sisters.
Incredible staging! Nobody deserves to win it more if you ask me! Good luck Edurne <3
Rafael… the camera work is not the one which will be used in the final. THIS ARE REHEARSALS, it’s obvious that they won’t show the best of what they have… This is only for us, for having an idea of what it will look like, but the position of the cameras and that kind of things won’t be shown until the grand final.
Edurne has done a very very good job, for me it’s a 10/10, GOOD LUCK SPAIN.
This is lame. Absolutely nothing to do with that camera work…
They could’ve designed a classy and stylish performance to get votes from the juries. But with this one, Spai will get a big piece of sh*t from juries and televoting.
Shame on the tacky ones who are responsible for THIS.
A eso de le llama NIÑA…TRABAJADORA
The dancing part is ok, but the whole staging – kitsch. It is hilarious – like in the videoclip. The song itself has a potential, but I doubt it will reach TOP3 with this staging.
I’m always sceptic about Spain’s chances in ESC, but after seeing the level of last night’s performances (and after listening to that crowd roaring at Edurne’s clip) I feel a little optimistic.
Honestly I don’t understand the “too much going on” hype. A girl singing and dancing a little bit, a shirtless dancer, one dress change… How is that too much?
Not a fan of the LED bubbles though…
@ OK Robyn 🙂
PG 18 ok? 😛 hehe 😉 kidding..
Yeah…Im more careful so i won’t write anything that would be like too p*rn & explicit 🙂
I think this is too much of everything. I can’t help myself to laugh a bit. She should have kept it simpler.
This can be winning material.
The 1st rehearsal dress Way better. Hot dancer. IT HAS presence drama, action, story told.. Beauty. Today she sang worse than 1st rehearsal.
The spot when he holds her up is stunning and should last longer. With perfect vocals and camera we can fly next year to IBIZA Madrid or Barcelona.
Good luck Spain! keep on singing in Spanish which brings the mix of cultures to eurovision. IT should be a plus instead of upside down
TOP 10:
1. Russia
2. Sweden
3. Azerbaijan
4. Poland
5. Estonia
6. Belgium
7. Australia
8. Norway
9. Spain
10. Iceland
Bovorson …y a usted quienle divierte este año?
No revelation. It is generally dull, but still more interesting and better than Italy.
Not sure she is nailing the vocals exactly spot on. And it’s all very Iberian and exotic (which I personally like)…..likely to alienate a lot of the core audience. That is why she is 40-1 with the bookies. 10th to15th place I would guess…more or less like “Dancing in the Rain” last year (10th.)
Wow, she deserves to be in TOP 5! This is one of the best perfomances this year!
Edurne usted deve utilizar el vestido verdeagua, es mucho mas bonito que el dorado,el baile con giuseppe brava.mucha suerte para el sabado, usted esta trabajando bien.
I really expect Espana’ Edurne performance to be amazing & fabulous! <3 😀
Its from the entries that the song will get boosted all the way by the actual live show! <3 🙂
@ William not only the sun rises but our rising c*cks too with going so hard with the sexy presence of Edurne's dancer hottie babe Jiuseppito Di Bella! <3 😀 hehe
Winner?
Wow! Edurne is doing such a great job! However, I prefer the dress she wore at the first rehearsal. The dancer looks great shirtless.
Good luck, Edurne! ¡Vamos tigresa!
This is as good as Spain is gonna get. Top 10 IMO…
Also, she defo uses that stage! WOW! The dancing sequence is unlike anything else we’ve seen this year, and gave me chills!
It looks mega-glamorous! I love it
