Edurne was a fashion icon at this year’s Eurovision, turning it out in multiple José Fuentes gowns and giving gladiator eleganza on stage performing “Amanecer”. The sun may have set on the song and her Eurovision campaign, but the Tigress has let her fashion claws loose in a spread for VIM Magazine.
In between smizing for the gods and finding her light, Edurne took time out to give a ruul ruul cute interview about her time at Eurovision and her wider career in television.
“Operación Triunfo was a platform and I used it to be able to show myself to people, to see if anyone could see me and I was lucky that was the case…Your Face Sounds Familiar was a funny show, that let you step into the shoes of other characters and discover yourself.”
She added on her recent presenting stint on Todo Va Bien, “it gave me the chance to show people who I am.”
On Eurovision, Edurne told VIM representing Spain was a big responsibility but, “it wasn’t always on my mind…It was fun and I wanted to enjoy the experience because that’s the advice the former acts had given to me.”
And on where “Amanecer” finished on the scoreboard?
“Honestly, I expected to do a little better. Maybe not win because it’s very complicated, but I thought we were going to be in a good position.”
Fortunately like the rising dawn, Edurne can take away the positives from the situation: “like most things, the most important thing is to have done a good job and be happy with the result.”

Although i liked more *Amanecer* in the beginning but liked it less after..
I had it on my top10-15 of the 40 songs in Vienna's Vision..
It was really good song but not winning material unfortunately..
But it could do really well with this cool performance…Pity that it didn't..
This happens all the time in Vision…We can't help it..
Well her result was disappointing let down indeed.. I had more expectations 4 Espana in Vienna’s Vision.. She delivered a great marvellous performance on stage… One of the best live performances of the bunch.. <3 She has to feel truly satisfied about her artistic outcome & result.. Her 21th place was the outcome that not enough countries had Espana inside the top10 so this would be enough 4 Edurne to receive precious points..
