Conchita Wurst was definitely one of the highlights of Eurovision 2015. On camera she provided a much-needed comedic alternative to the occasionally bland and robotic hosts — and she rocked a pink pantsuit while being lowered from the ceiling. Off-camera and around Vienna, she wowed audiences with live performances at Euro Fan Café and Life Ball. And no, she wasn’t just reprising “Rise Like a Phoenix”. Conchita released her much-anticipated debut album “Conchita” ahead of the contest and we were living songs like “Firestorm” and “Colours of Your Love”.
Today Miss Wurst released a remastered version of “Firestorm” and lyric videos for both. You can check them out below. (You can also check out our interview with Conchita about her debut album). Are you loving these tunes? Are you pleased these are the next two singles? Let us know in the comments box below.
I love the whole album and I listen to it constantly. The songs she picked aren’t my favorites though. My favorites are “Pure” and “Other side of me”. If there’d be another single, I hope she’ll pick those songs, or perhaps “Put that fire out” – a song, I initially didn’t like at all but fell in love with after hearing it about 50 times.
Really pity that Conchita’s debut album did not meet much bigger success in Europe though.. Mainly it was only successful in her home country Austria that was certified platinum hitting the #1 top spot.. It charted on numerous other countries but not in high position though mostly.. {But 4 the record,Mans’s album had the same fate with charting even on much lower places than Conchita’s album did…It was successful only in his country Sweden..} Her album was really GOOD 4 a debut first record… <3 I hope that her next 2nd album will meet much more success & will sell… Read more »
SO GLAM
My favorite is definitely Colours of your love .
I like to dance to “Firestorm” – it´s my perfect summer dance song and the more I listen to “Colours of your love” the more I like this song.
But my absolute favorite of Conchita´s debutalbum is “Put that fire out” – I can´t stop listening. And I also love “Up for air”.
Btw your interviews are always great, William.
I love Colours Of Your Love <3
