It’s been one month since the stars shined and the confetti fell in the grand final of Eurovision 2016. The team at wiwibloggs can’t get Jamala’s “1944” out of our heads. Unless we put on Dami Im’s “Sound of Silence” or Sergey Lazarev’s “You Are The Only One.” But our playlists don’t stop with the Top 3. We’re still loving Samra’s “Miracle”, ManuElla’s “Blue and Red”, Rykka’s “The Last of Our Kind” and more…

That we would compulsively listen to songs that failed to crack the Top 10 (or even make the final) isn’t surprising. Eurovision acts frequently fall flat on the big night because of bad staging or dodgy vocals, while digitally re-mastered versions of those same songs go on to prove timeless. Remember Britain’s Gina G. from the 1996 contest? Her dance number “Ooo Ah….Just A Little Bit” only placed 8th, but it’s now a staple on dance floors from Havana to Haifa.
Now it’s time for you to let us know which songs you are still listening to. So load your iTunes, see which tracks you’ve played the most, and then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many songs as you’d like, but you can only vote one time: be sure to click the box next to each song before pressing submit. In order to discourage fans from manipulating the results, you will not be able to see the full results after voting. Sorry ’bout it. But we will publish updates from time-to-time. The poll will close on August 14.
Note: We have decided to include Romania’s planned entry “Moment of Silence”. Despite Romania’s forced withdrawal from the contest, the song is on the official Eurovision CD, so we thought it right to include it here as well.
Rather than stressing out over the results, why not review our past winners? Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw won with “Heroes” last year, Israel’s Mei Finegold won with “Same Heart” in 2014, Romania’s Cezar won with “It’s My Life” in 2013, Ireland’s Jedward won with “Waterline” in 2012, Sweden’s Eric Saade won with “Popular” in 2011, and Turkey’s maNga won with “We Could Be the Same” in 2010.

Poll closed and where is the final score ?
So, when are you going to post the results? Or is the outcome not what you expected? 😉

I’m only listening to COLOR OF YOUR LIFE from MICHAL SZPAK. I fell in love with this song when I saw the video the first time on the official ESC website. The live performance of Michal was so awesome, he has such an amazing voice and charisma. He is an extraordinary artist – born for the stage. You must hear and sing him live, it’s stunning. He doesn’t sing only ballads, he’s mainly a rock singer.

I agree 🙂
Well, Michal’s song is being accused of being “dated” (although this was intended by Michal, who wanted to release an 80s style album). Maybe that’s why it wasn’t appreciated by the juries? I do hope they just didn’t aprreciate the song (because they COULD NOT disapprove of Michal’s voice!), and not sheer politics (a “revenge” on Poland for the government’s decisions – which BTW, are NOT supported by a major part of the society). Anyway, the song is nice, the voice is great, and he looks amazing. I wish him an international success.
I really love Freddie from Hungary. How did he get 19th place?! I don’t understand. It’s really amazing!
When i showed my friends the semi-final performances of the non-qualifying entries and the full vid of the grand final, the song that got stuck in their heads was Finland’s Sing It Away, they LSS by the song for more than a week and counting!
Israel. Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Malta, Bulgaria, Romania, Finland, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Serbia, Moldova – I still love it!

Poland – MICHAL SZPAK – Colour of your life!!!!
@Agnieszka
I agree 🙂
What I don’t understand though is why the juries always put Poland so low… Actually Poland is always saved by the televote, otherwise you wouldn’t have qualified in the last three years! I understand why the juries didn’t like you in 2014 but in 2015 and 2016 you had quality entries and they should have supported you more. That’s more than just a coincidence…
