She’s the runner-up of Serbia’s Pinkove zvezdice and is currently making waves as Macedonia’s Junior Eurovision 2016 participant.
And on October 22 Martija Stanojkovic proved the hype is real as she delivered her first live performance of “Love Will Lead Our Way”.
At an event organized by the Zito market chain, Martija performed a setlist of Macedonia’s biggest pop hits, whilst saving her Junior Eurovision entry and debut single as frosting on her seriously delicious cake.
LOVE WILL LEAD OUR WAY LIVE
The song starts at 16:00:
Martija’s performance in Veles was more than satisfying.
Although this is a low-quality clip, her fresh sound and look really shine through. Her vocals were on-point for most of the performance, and she kept it lively and bouncy even without her posse of dance ladies and the fancy backdrop of her music video.
The lengthy video shows Martija singing five songs — with the majority having a connection to Eurovision! After warming up with Elena Risteska’s greatest hits, she dropped her version of Tamara Todevska’s “Tesko bez tebe”, describing it as her favourite song.
She’s not the first Junior Eurovision star from Macedonia to do so!
While most of the details about her performance remain under lock and key, it’s been revealed that Marija will work with young Macedonian fashion designer Iva Spasovska to create something unique, interesting and covered in crystals. Sounding good, sugar!

@Keane, you’re not the only one. This song just doesn’t do much for me.
The best! Martija for the win!
Let’s have 2017 Junior Eurovision in Skopje, Macedonia! 🙂
Am I the only one who doesn’t really like this song?
She has a great voice. Looking forward to seeing her perform in Malta.
Good luck! I’m not sure if Macedonia will do well but I hope so. 🙂
I do think she’s great and she’s 4th in my top, but I’m not sure whether the jury likes this. It may be too modern for the Kids and I just have a feeling that the adult jury won’t like this so much.
