Next month’s final is looming over the horizon but before Lithuania make that all-important decision on March 11, broadcaster LRT have confirmed there will be two semi-finals of Eurovizijos atranka 2018. The first semi-final takes place this weekend on February 24, with the second on March 3.

However, all is not lost for the twelve eliminated acts from the last two shows. Since Monday morning, broadcaster LRT has confirmed there will be not one, but two wildcard slots up for grabs.

But who should win a spot in the semi-final? You can listen to all the songs from the twelve acts below and have your say by voting on their poll. Be warned — you can only vote for ONE act and ONCE per IP address, so choose wisely! The results will be announced on Wednesday morning and the top two with the highest number of votes gets the wildcards.

Vidas Bareikis – “Pusvalanduko”

Queen Greta of course… she has a fabulous voice and I love her song! Even if she doesn’t win the right to represent Lithuania in Eurovision 2018, she can be proud of her attempt. If she doesn’t win, I hope to see her again next year! 🙂

How unnecessary is this? They just want to make it last longer to get more money…

Watching all of these seemed like a waste of time on mediocre music and lackluster staging… until I got to In My Bones. How have I not found this song until now? It totally stands out above all the other Eurovizijos Atranka songs I’ve heard this year.

Jaysus, they lose acts slower on their NF than the X factor does! Just cut them loose already!

This may actually take longer than Israel. It’s a damn marathon.

Israel is not a really a selection. It’s a reality show whose prize is to go to esc.

If they can have audience’s attention and high ratings for a longer time, they’ll do that. 7 acts will perform in each semi, both semis will be live shows, so maybe it’s even better that less acts will go in one show and we have 2 semis.

But LRT have said that each person will perform only 4 times this year (Last year was 5 times)

Yes, everyone has performed twice as of now, and there’s the semifinals and the finals left. 2+2 is four, quick maths:P
