On Saturday evening, Norway’s NRK aired the fourth programme of “Adresse Lisboa” — its Eurovision 2018 preview show — and Belarus’ Alekseev came out on top. During his stage show his female dancer shoots a rose from a bow during. Apparently she is set to pierce Norwegian hearts…
“Forever” received an overall score of 76 points, which was enough to beat the competition in this fourth and final episode. Just two points behind were Bulgaria’s Exquinox, gathering 74 points. Cyprus’ Eleni Foureira came third, watching “Fuego” collect 71 points.
The final show featured the acts from Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden and Ukraine.
Moldova and Spain in the top five
A few points behind Cyprus, Moldova’s DoReDos reached fourth place on the programme with 67 points. And in fifth place were Spain’s Alfred and Amaia. “Tu Canción” received 64 points from the panel.
And Sweden? Norway’s neighbour didn’t fare as well with the experts. Benjamin Ingrosso’s “Dance You Off” only received 57 points, putting him in eighth position.
Surprisingly, Ukraine finished in last place. “Under The Ladder” received just 36 points from the Norwegian panel.
Fourth programme rankings
The fourth programme rankings were as follows
Austria and Greece lead final scoreboard
Winning the battle doesn’t mean winning the war. In the end, and compiling points from all four episodes, Greece’s Yianna Terzi and Austria’s Cesár Sampson share first place. They both earned 86 points to win the “Adresse Lisboa” ranking.
What do you think about Alekseev’s “Forever”? Does he have what it takes to qualify from the first semi-final?
Devasted! Not only me but also The Telegraph is devasted today about Belarus not qualifying!
Curious to see Belarus staging tbh, that staging and song gives me ”Where the wild roses grow” vibe.
The staging is channeling The nightingale and the rose by Oscar Wilde, a tale about giving your blood and your life in the name of love and still beiing rejected, a painful love story for a tragic love song. And I vote in semi 2 , sigh!
Norway, I think I move to you from Sweden! I love Alekseevs songs, not only this one.
Gud så kul! Härligt att jag inte är enda nordbon som är ett fan. Googla på honom och kolla hans musikvideor. Helt fantastiska, starka.
Nu får vi hålla tummar att han går till final.
The b!tch cannot sing. Hahahahaha
Elani can laugh at her now.
She should go back to America now.
just to inform that Karma is a bitch ….try to be happy now by listening the cheap with a voice like cat fuego …The bitch here is you!
F u, cu nt!
What? Yianna Terzi is a bitch? Where did you get that information from? Yianna is quite accomplished in the music industry besides her singing. She has a lovely, warm voice and CAN sing live.
Singing is definitely not one of Foureira’s strengths. In fact, most of her singing is….playback!
That’s it! First Alexander Rybac defending Alexeev and now this?! I’m going to vote on Thursday with Norway also!
Belarus song is very interesting indeed
I love it from the first second! I am his most devoted fan!
