They were one of the most memorable acts at Eurovision 2020. But Hatari isn’t finished with Europe just yet. The award-winning anti-capitalist BDSM techno performance art group has today announced an extensive 18-city European tour, set to begin in January 2020.

The group announced details of the Europe Will Crumble tour on Facebook.

EUROPE WILL CRUMBLE 2020. Tickets on sale Friday. Sun 26 Jan 2020 Oslo, Norway @ Vulkan ArenaMon 27 Jan 2020…

Posted by Hatari on Wednesday, July 17, 2019

The tour kicks off in Oslo on 26 January and the anticapitalist doom merchants will continue spreading their nihilistic message across the continent until the end of the tour in Paris on 2 April.

The tour takes a break from early February to mid March, which fans have noted coincides with the expected time for Söngvakeppnin 2020. This suggests that Hatari will return to Iceland’s national final for a guest performance.

Since their controversial appearance at Eurovision 2020, Hatari have been keeping busy. In May the group released the single “Klefi / Samed (صامد)” in collaboration with the Palestinian artist Bashar Murad. While in June, vocalist Klemens celebrated the birth of his second daughter.

The group have also been touring, with dates both around Iceland and Europe, including major summer festivals such as Festsaal Kreuzberg in Germany, Bloodshed Fest in the Netherlands and Roskilde Festival in Denmark.

Everyone complaining about them and it seems they are doing a bigger and better European tour than the winner and the runner up of this year.

Their song was my favourite but they clearly don’t respect Eurovision so I don’t respect them.

If they are fighting against capitalism, tickets to their performances should be free of charge 😉

I am happy to support their good cause and will buy a T-shirt and tickets, it’s not cheap to end capitalism. (the tickets to the festival I go to are quite cheap though, 10 euro)

Sarcasm is not hate. While I am over their pretend characters, for Eurovision standards, they did achieve something. They got Iceland out of the gutter they were in since 2015 and hopefully paved the way for more quality songs at Söngvakeppnin and less Hera Björks and Fridrik Omars. Hate would achieve nothing at Eurovision. It definitely would not achieve a 6th place in the real voting, which is amazing for such a small country. I hope it started a war in Iceland. The war to finally win Eurovision.

I am always worried about comments, they are public, so I always think wisely before I write sth (I know this is unbelievable ^^)

They are not spreading hate ! The lyrics are “from the ashes of the web of lies rise united”. They repeatedly said in the interviews to “remember to love before hate prevails”. They are against the manipulation by fascism and capitalism , the hate is towards these systems. They spread a lot of love for people in all their diversity, using contrasts in the dance, poetry (read the translations on tumblr) and music.

The real voting? It’s a song contest, not a popularity contest. I do agree with the rest of what you wrote, though, even if Gilad is so off the wall that it was hardly worth responding.
