Reiley releases acoustic version of “Breaking My Heart”

Before he travels to Liverpool this weekend the Danish representative Reiley released an acoustic version of his Eurovision 2023 entry “Breaking My Heart”. With light guitar and piano in the background this is a more lowkey version of the song to get a more emotional feeling to it, and Reiley also posted a snippet on Instagram asking his followers to comment about their own heartbreaks. Does acoustic not mean unplugged anymore? Some of the acoustic version this year (Sweden and Denmark I think) does sound stripped back but not unplugged.

Not Hatari at all. More similarities to Israel’s Michael Ben David “I’m”. I also do not think it will qualify. Is not even a song

“I’m not scared to love you, I’m scared of breaking my heart” is one of the better lines of lyrics in the whole Contest this year. Anyone want to disagree?

Admittedly, Reiley’s lyrics are some of the best this year, it’s the TikTok-like nature of the music thst throws me off.

Every time I see Reiley speak he really reminds me of Chloe Grace Moretz. Does anyone else see it?
