Heat Two and Three of Lithuania’s Eurovizija.LT were filmed this week. As usual both shows were expected to feature 9 acts each, however, on Tuesday it was announced that Austėja Lukaitė has withdrawn her submission “Who Am I Without You?” due to health issues. That means that this Saturday, January 18, we will see 8 artists compete for the 2 tickets to the final, while Heat Three on January 25 will feature the usual 9 entries.
The shows are again set to be presented by already familiar trio — Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė and Rimvydas Cerniauskas. The jury again will consist of Vytautas Bikus, amd singer Ieva Narkute who will appear in both shows. LRT Eurovision commentator Ramūnas Zilnys, singer and songwriter Stano, music producer Leon Somov, LRT presenters Gerūta Griniūtė and Kristupas Naraškevičius will vote for their favourite entries on one of the evenings.
We’re lined up for a few returnees to the Lithuanian Eurovision national pre-selection. Vilija who represented Lithuania at the Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen is back again, this time it’s an entry in Lithuanian language called Liesti Negalima. After a year break Petunija is back on the Eurovision selection stage. After placing fourth in the final in Pabandom is Naujo 2023, this year she is back with a folk pop song I salduma, she will be performing fourth this Saturday. Pabandom is Naujo 2021 runner-up Gebrasy is back as well with an entry in the third show of Eurovizija.LT 2025.

He certainly benefited from not participating last year. That gave him an extra year to really fine tune his song.

For me it’s Petunija and Karo in Final,
? saldum? is hypnotising, Love bug kept me engaging during all the song.
Jok?bas is interesting but too repetitive imo.
Freya song is cool, but the weakness of this pre chorus spoils a bit the entire song unfortunately.
These are the 4 songs that got my attention.
I think it’s very clear Petunija’ song is the best for this round and everybody else is scrambling for the second spot, although that’s what I said last week about Ruta and we all know how that went.
Yeah it’s kind of unpredictable, it’s what makes the thing exciting!
Yeah, I don’t think we’ll have a clear idea of a frontrunner until we have our 10 finalists.

After the Lithuanians have been imprudent enough to eliminate Ruta, Gebrasy and Petunija are the best ones they have. Might be their time to shine. Or Lithuania might make another weird choice, what do I know.
Gebrasy’s song is very good, maybe this time he will win, but Petunija is also has a decent song.
Could get a little competitive.
