We have this long blank wall here at work. And Eurovision sells the posters for the last 10 years of the show. So I figured, makes for a great set of art for people who walk this aisle all the time. And it’s right across from my office. One of the nice things about owning (most of) the company – I can bring in the art work.
We’re in America where no one has heard of the show. Most everyone (but not all!) here at work thinks I’m crazy due to my love of the ESC. And now with this, they wonder even more about me. But several have told me that they like the poster art, so while the songs have made little headway here, the posters are doing better.
Anyways, I think we’re one of the few (only?) software companies that have the Eurovision posters up as artwork.
Does anyone else work at a company that celebrates the ESC? If so, how?

This is awesome!! What a great way to share the contest from across the pond. People surely must become curious from the posters & check out the contest. 😀 Great job
Haha, that’s great Erika! Good luck with your plans!
Okay, that’s it! After reading that Julle celebrates, we are so going to start an annual celebration each year. 2014…1st Annual Windward ESC celebration!!! (Yes I just need any excuse to be able to wear a feather boa to work). Would cut-outs of past winners around the office be overkill? (and Cezar of course). Need to start planning now!
@Alex – next time you’re in Boulder email me! (It’s easy to find on the Windward website.)
I actually do celebrate esc at work. from the start of melodifestivalen to the day before the esc final, I do feather boa Fridays. Just wearing a boa and walking around with it is a sure way of making colleagues smile and join 🙂
David, I was just in Boulder a couple of weeks ago! Wish I knew! 🙂
@Emily – we’re located in Boulder, Colorado. If anyone here is ever in Boulder, you must let me know! I’ll buy you lunch (and you can see the office if you want).
@Astrikur – room for 2014 and 2015. The person who put them up is the other ESC fan and is involved in selecting our next office (we’re about to outgrow this one). So she’ll make sure there’s places for 2016 – 2099 🙂 in the new office.
Feel your heart beat was the best! Thanks to Germany
I hope you have free space for Denmark 2014 poster 🙂
Such a neat idea. I love Eurovision memorabilia.
the best is light your fire
Top Job!
Would love to visit this hallway. Where is it located?
