Each week we follow a random Eurovision star on Twitter and then compile a list of the things which we learned about them. Last week it was 2012 champion Loreen. Now it’s the turn of Duncan James (@MrDuncanJames), 1/4 of the UK’s 2011 representatives Blue. Here’s what we found out:

1. Duncan started the week on a positive note. He was on his way back from Italy after a number of concerts there with Blue and was still on a high.

2. But his bubble was quickly popped when he got to the airport, when he experienced a bit of hassle with the low cost airline he was traveling with. It’s refreshing to see that Eurovision stars suffer from the same problems as ordinary civilians from time to time.

However, his celeb status did mean that he got a response from the official EasyJet Twitter account.

3. While a lot of us have had bother with airlines at some point, I’m pretty sure most of you don’t suffer from an affliction known as “name-dropping”. It’s a very serious condition, most commonly found in the celebrity world, where the individual regularly names other famous people they are acquainted with. Poor Duncan has a pretty severe case. In just one week he mentioned tv presenter Denise Van Outen, former Westlife member Shane Filan and singer/reality star Kerry Katona.

4. You may remember that Loreen went shopping but didn’t disclose what she’d bought. Well, not only does Duncan tell us what he’s bought but he also models it for us.

5. He also occasionally shares what he has for dinner. For instance on Thursday he had this.

6. Duncan and the boys aren’t just popular in Italy, they were on German television during the week as well.

7. And Duncan also made an appearance, along with Lee Ryan, on “Through the Keyhole”, the latest ITV show from the inexplicably popular Keith Lemon.

8. Poor Duncan must have been wrecked by the time the week came to a close. What with the Italian concert and airport fiasco, the tv appearances and dealing with Kerry Katona. But even as the weekend approached there was no rest as Blue had to perform at the Bournemouth air show.

9. When you’re that busy it’s important to keep yourself motivated in order to remain stress free. Duncan would seem to do this through quotes and sayings which he shares with us.

10 In case you hadn’t noticed, Blue have a summer edition of Roulette out.

And Duncan has a favourite track.
