So far in Finland’s Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), four acts have fallen over the course of six shows. This Saturday the eight remaining contestants will perform one final time with the hope of winning and representing Finland at Eurovision 2014. From the pop rock of Softengine to the soulful folk of Hukka ja Mama to the punk stylings of MIAU to the dreamy wonder of Mikko Pohjola, Finland has you covered.

But who should win? You can let your voice be heard in our #umk14 poll below. You can vote for as many candidates as you would like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to click the box next to each contestant you’d like to support before pressing submit. And if you haven’t seen all of this year’s acts, you can watch them here.

Mikko Pohjola!!! woooooo or Softengine or Hukka Ja Mama which makes me feel like I’m insulting someone’s mother in English lol. I’m caught on to Clarissa & Josh’s song, but I do not think that one should win.

Hanna Sky or Hukka Ja Mama. For me these are “finish” songs.

How can people like Clarrisa & Josh?… *facepalm*
Anyway, we got the juries this time in the final. So, goodbye Clarrisa & Josh and Welcome to Copenhagen, Mikko Pohjola 😀

I am glad that Jasmin is out because of its cheap latino sound.

They’re all pretty bad. Jasmine had the only good one and she was voted out. I doubt a qualification is on the cards with any of these

@Bb If you want something authentically Finnish, Hukka ja Mama should be up there too.

Honestly, I could make a case for all the artists. Each one of them brings something different, memorable, and good to the table. However, my vote goes to the one artist that has done something unique on a personal level. By entering UMK, they’ve earned a longtime fan with their fun breezy approach to music and even if they don’t win now, they’re destined for great things; my vote goes to the one and only Team MadCraft! 😀

Mikko Pohjola should be the winner in my opinion. Softengine is too generic and would do a Belarus 2012. There is no memorable melody there and it sounds like a Fall Out Boy reject. Honestly don’t understand the appeal there. Clarissa can’t sing that well live; it’s just an embarrassment and will be forgotten amongst the growing mix of dance pop taking over Eurovision, especially if Paula and Ovi end up representing Romania.

Please Finland, send something authentically Finnish!
