The stars are coming out in Riga! This Saturday Eurovision 2014 contestants Conchita Wurst, Vilija Mataciunaite and Donatan & Cleo will perform at the first-ever “Eurovision preParty Riga”. Latvia’s Eurovision 2013 contestants PeR will open the show. The names may be big, but organizers are keeping the event intimate to let y’all get up close and personal with the contestants. The event will unfold in “Andaluzijas suns” (Andalusia’s dog), a 200-person bar/cafe.
Miroslavs Kodis, the president of the newly-formed Eurovision fan club in Latvia, believes there is a hunger for a preview party in the region.
“We hope our event will become a tradition and will be the Eurovision in Concert of the Baltic States and even Eastern Europe,” he tells wiwibloggs.com. “Because as we all know, there are two big Eurovision events — in London and Amsterdam — and there is no such an event in the Baltics or even East of Europe.”
They’re moving fast and thinking big. The concert will be streamed live from 21:00 Eastern Europe Time (so 20:00 CET, and 19:00 GMT) on LSM.lv, the media page for the Latvian Public.
Musicians will also have the opportunity to tour Riga along with journalists on Sunday. We can’t wait to see images of Conchita and Donatan hobnobbing with the locals!

Nothing coming up..
I’d love to see Revelation myself.
Sounds like fun! Surprised that Aarzemnieki and Tanja won’t be there.
P.S. Maybe PeR will sing “Revelation” from this year’s Dziesma?
