Earlier this week Elhaida Dani was a guest performer on the X Factor Albania, where she sang her Eurovision 2015 song “I’m Alive”. Standing inside a giant flower, she was in full bloom! She gave the Albanian audience a performance to remember — and one full of the strength and life she sings about. Her dress was black and the stage was filled with smoke, but this performance radiated light and energy. The final minute in particular roared with power and spark. She’s really one to watch.

She’s still my favourite song this year, but this was just dissapointing.
Every performance of her is awful. I guess she won’t even make it to the final
I agree that the performancce was not the best but is not Elhaida’s fault. her voice is great. the bad quality of sound and the music was so low she can barely hear it. you can see from her face she is not pleased herself either. anyway she is saving energy for eurovision. if she gave all her maximum now, then what will be left for eurovision. right???
Quite underwhelming, especially during the chorus. Let’s stop pretending that this is amongst the favourites.
Elhaida is the best number one <3
Still better than 95% of songs out there this year, but I agree that something was off. Here vocals were fantastic so it wasn’t that for the most part, maybe they just didn’t seem powerful enough for the music, almost like she needed to sing louder. But other than that, it was great 😀
She sounded great, and there’s some relief from knowing that for all our differences, The X-Factor is like a soulless, charmless version of Eurovision everywhere.
all haters of elhaida are here, but you will see, she gonna kill live performance in Viena and wil win 🙂

For me is not good to writers from this blogs to write and only promote their singers.
@PP
If the ALBANIAN CORRESPONDENT writes articles only about Albania why does that irritate you? You just want something to complain about. 😀 Shut up. 😀
Do you write articles of other countries singers or only article about singer for Albania, because you are from Albania. Other writers from this blog, writes not only article about performers from their countries.
No chance for TOP 10 in final for Albania this year with this song and not good live vocal.
I like Elhaida a lot, i guess she’s a very nice person and her Charisma is beautiful, but….. I must honestly say that all her live performas of'”i’m alive” are not so good, her voice is a bit uncontrolled and the song misses something, i think when people see and hear this from the first time (90% of the viewers at may 19) they will not overwhelmed at all, actually it’s quite forgettable and bland and i’m afraid Albania will not qualify this year…
@ Hey *Otna* 🙂
I don’t really like Germany’s & Ireland’s entries….I have them even outside of my top30.. 😛 But ok i do not dislike them either…{i only dislike just few entries on this Vision..}
But that’s your own taste/preferences so i rest my case 🙂
I have the albanian entry 10th in my top..
My most favorites entries are Georgia’s & France’s 4 the record..
I dont like the voice and i dont like the song i find it really booooring , not in my top 10 , far away from the top for me , good luck
She is FLAWLESS <3
This has moved up into my Top 3 for the year (at the moment only behind Germany and Ireland) but I think it will continue to rise and it might be my #1 favourite by the Semi!
Nice staging with the flower & her dress… It doesn’t matter if her live performances are not great… Obviously she is saving all her precious energy 4 her live performance on the semifinal… It will be the only live performance that will count… It is not significant if she will possibly has given how many fine/great performances til her live show on 19th May.. If she will mess up her real performance then we have to worry.. I do not even pay attention to all these live singings or even the concert of Amsterdam.. 4 me only the (X)Factor of… Read more »
This is not good…
I think the vocals were slightly off due to the audio/mic quality with the show, similar to Edurne’s performances in Spain. But something is missing though, the song itself is good but the live performance is missing a spark.
I was a bit dissapointed by her performance in Amsterdam, this one was much better and the parts that bothered me have vastly improved. It’s not quite there yet, but I have faith she’ll have it mastered by the time of the show.
Not to sound like an Edurne apologist, but the sound in that clip is kind of crappy, maybe that has to do with it?
Agree with Easpag. I just don’t feel that the vocals carry enough punch, weight and thickness as I would like them to.
I’m trying so hard but This song don’t grow on me at all
Her vocals are messy and uncontrolled
it’s just as chaotic and dodgy in vocals as in Amsterdam. I don’t see her qualifying with this song, it’s just to complicated.
I really like her song…It has grown on mea lot since the first time i heard it actually.. Its currently my 5th most liked on the 1st semifinal & my 10th most liked among the 40.. {At some time i even had Elhaida’s song even 2nd on the 1st semifinal & in my top5 overall.. } Elhaida Dani can not only qualify to the final {finishing on very good/high place on the semifinal..} but do really good/great on the grand finale.. Inside the top20 on a bad scenario… Inside the top15 on a good scenario.. Inside the top10 on a… Read more »
Flower goes to Vienna? Looks like a classic ESC prop.
She is one of the best vocalists this year, the song might not be striking enough though. Good luck!
@Easpag I’m sorry but I have to disagree. Her vocals will be phenomenal in Vienna.
Elhaida is gonna slay in Vienna. Shame about the actual stage though seems rather small.
Vocals were a bit dodgy, I must say. Maybe with live backing vocals Elhaida may pack a bigger punch, but at the moment, it’s weaker than what I was expecting from her.
