After a two-tier wildcard selection and a ten-song grand final, we’ll soon know who will win Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and earn the right to sing for Denmark at Eurovision 2020.
After a close — and we mean real close — open poll, we can reveal that the Danish act you’d like to see win is Ben & Tan, with their uplifting track “Yes”.
Earlier this week we asked our readers to vote in our poll. After counting 2,264 votes, the duo racked up 832 votes or 36.75% of all votes cast. Ben & Tan qualified through the P4 wildcard selection, which saw them emerge as the winners of the Eastern Denmark group over Samsara and Søren Okholm. “Yes” has heavyweights behind it. The team includes prolific Swedish composer and former Mello act, Jimmy Jansson, and “Heroes” writer, Linnea Deb. Emil Lei completes this notable team.
In second place is another duo, Jasmin Rose feat. RoxorLoops, with their ethereal dance single “Human”. They earned 796 votes, or 35.16% of the total votes. You might know RoxorLoops from before, as he was part of Witloof Bay, the acapella group that represented Belgium at Eurovision 2011. Their song is composed by Erik Smaaland, Gavin Jones and Grace Risch, as well as Lise Cabble, notable for writing past Danish entries, such as “Love is Forever” and the Eurovision winner, “Only Teardrops”.
These are the two acts that have fired up the fanbase. Third placed Kenny Duerlund only received 7.24% of the vote.

It´s indeed ma favourite but “Yes” would be a great choice too. I don´t like “Human”.
I’m crossing my fingers for “Human”!
The chessy love song by the sugar-coated couple really bores me, we had enough with Leonora…
Denmark wasted “League of Light” last year, I hope they don’t chose the wrong song again.
they’re not a couple
You didnt watched the final live last year didnt you?
Leonora won because when it came to live performance both the staging and vocals was underwhelming.. I wasnt a fan of Leonora either but league of light fell apart live sadly.. Lets hope for some great live vocals and good staging tonight.. But Ben&Tan should absolutly try to stay away from getting too cheesy.. The song aint that cheesy it self but will easy end up being if they choose the wrong staging..
Human, Yes, and Bye Bye Heaven are my favs… but good luck to everyone tomorrow.
Owff. That was a close poll result!
This could be a thriller. I might watch this one.
ben and tan are so so cute, they are adorable couple, i hope they can win
human is also good, denmark has some good choices tomorrow
HUMAN!
YES!
With Human, top 5 is very easy!
I lean towards Human but Yes is a solid song too
This song is so incredibly catchy.
I hope it’s Human, not that cheesy, dated, advertisement song!
I’m rooting for Den eneste goth i Velje, Human or Yes. Any of those 3 win, and I’ll be happy for Denmark!
Jasmin Rose and Roxerloops are awesome, they would really stand out in a year when there are very few absolute bops/ killer anthems! Please Denmark choose them!
You’re right!
You bitch
Alright Kim Woodburn!
HAHA i died a little at your response Paul
