As Christmas approaches and holiday shopping ramps up, Eurovision fans are surely wondering what they should buy. This year it’s easy, as tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 go on sale just days before the holidays.

Eurovision 2015 tickets are not on sale yet

Austrian radio-broadcaster Ö3 has warned people away from buying any “tickets” they have seen advertised in recent weeks. They’ve been airing this slogan: “Don’t buy tickets, because there they don’t exsist!”

There are still no tickets available, despite the fact that host broadcaster ORF said they would make tickets available by the middle of November. There is still no definite date when ticket sales starts, but it’s been said they will drop just before Christmas.

ORF has not publicly explained the delay, perhaps because it’s unclear how many seats will be in the arena and how many countries will participate.

But don’t stress out. It’s pretty clear that Austria wants the 60th anniversary show to be amazing. Austrian television has planed big things for the weeks leading up to the finale. They will show daily news of the event and are creating special shows in honor of ESC 2015. Hopefully fans in search of their elusive tickets will get the chance to hold a piece of ESC very soon.

I’ve now had to spend my money on Xmas, so probs won’t be able to go DAMNIT. If they’d have been on sale when they were supposed to be, I.e. November, I’d have been able to attempt to get tickets on an impulse purchase!
