Sweden is holding its breath until February 7 when Melodifestivalen 2015 finally kicks off. At least that’s the sense we get from the glamourous, Frozen-inspired trailer that SVT released earlier today, two weeks before the first semi-final.
In the trailer we see an average woman in a sulk with her husband. Thankfully she escapes the problems at home with the help of co-host and comedian Robin Paulsson. He guides her to Sanna Nielsen, who is singing Daniel Lindgren’s #melfest track “Shout It Out” (one of the favourites to win MF in 2012). The message of the trailer is obviously “the countdown has begun”. Given the daily updates on svt.se, they certainly have that right!
We hope the lady in the video gets her door checked. She might be in a better mood if there were a barrier between her and the forest.
I think it should be David instead of Daniel Lindgren?
@ Khan
I’m sorry to tell you that Sanna with this performance whouldn’t even pass through the seventh semififinal in San Marino… or something similar. I mean she is so mediocre in this video.
What about the guy in the tub? They just left him in a Swedish gloom.. ready to drown!
@Scott lol
Can’t wait until February!
Oh, that Lindgren song. So much good. 🙂
Can’t help but think that Sanna could have qualified to Eurovision by singing this song in 2012. But then Loreen was the true winner that year
Great trailer! We call that woman’s mood “Swedish resting face.”
