Drama was the prelude to last week’s fourth episode of the “Eurovizijos” dainu konkurso nacionaline atranka: Milita Daikeryte withdrew ahead of the show due to illness and the public sent Tadas Jodsnuki home, despite loving him in earlier rounds. Tonight the drama continued. Seven artists sang potential Eurovision entries and battled for a place in top five. Unfortunately Neringa Šiaudikyte and Liepa Mondeikaite did not make the cut. They received the lowest combined score from the juries and the televote. Sorry guys.
Five artists are still left in the competition. Tonight’s winner was Mia, who performed duet with Edgaras Lubys. The other three acts left are Vaidas Baumila, Jurgis Bruzga and Monika Linkyte.
Rolikai, the group sent home in the second week of the contest, performed “Sound Of Colours” as an interval act. That’s because no other artist has wanted to sing this song thus far in the competition. The song is still leading the poll, which will eventually, together with votes from the jury, decide the songs that will battle in the final of the selection. Earlier this week two songs — “Factory Heart” and “Es Tut Mir Nicht Leid” — were voted out. Thankfully.
