Efficiency is the name of the game in Sweden! Today SVT have announced that the running order for the Melodifestivalen final will be revealed during this weekend’s Andra Chansen show. Gina Dirawi and her co-hosts Peter Jöback and The Ark’s Ola Salo will be joined by Christer Björkman, who will reveal precisely when the likes of Wiktoria and Frans will sing, as well as the four Andra Chansen duel winners.
The implication of this news is that SVT clearly have an idea about who will qualify from each duel already. It’s likely that the running order for the final has already been drawn up with these assumptions in mind. If there’s any shocks on Saturday night, then there could be some awkward faces at SVT — and a very interesting running order. It’s worth bearing in mind that since 2009, only one song has ever won the Melodifestivalen final from the “first half” of the final. That, of course, happened to be a certain Måns Zelmerlöw…

In the same announcement, it was also confirmed that this week’s musical guest will be Hasse Andersson. It’s fair to say Hasse’s popularity baffled our Wiwi Jury last year. But after coming through his Andra Chansen duel, he finished a spectacular fourth place in the final, even beating Eric Saade. Sweden clearly loves him and, well, that’s good enough for us.
Of course, SVT will also be in charge of the running order for the Eurovision grand final too. Usually, we have to wait until the early hours of the morning after the second semi final to find out who will perform when on the Saturday night. Could SVT work some magic and make a decision during the show on the Thursday night?

This is the best running order for final:
1. Frans
2. Molly Sanden
3. Robin Bengtsson
4. Oscar Zia
5. Ace Wilder
6. Saraha
7. Lisa Ajax
8. Wiktoria
9. Boris Rene
10. Panetoz
11. David Lindgren
12. Samir & Viktor
My running order:
1. Lisa A
2. Panetoz/Albin & Mattias
3. Panetoz/Molly Sandén
4. Robin B./Molly PH
5. Robin B./Frans
6. Frans/Boris René/Isa
7. Boris René/Wiktoria
8. Wiktoria/Oscar Z
9. SaRaHa/Oscar Z.
10. Samir och Viktor/Dolly Style
11. Ace Wilder
12. David L.
And my favourite is not David L. It is either Boris or Ace.
Either that, or the contender who has the worst odds on the bookies’ boards sings first, and the one with the best odds sings last…
…Or better still, the 2 contenders with the best odds will sing in the middle of the competition. By ranking, the order or performance would look something like this: 12-10-8-6-4-2-1-3-5-7-9-11. Given the odds as of this moment, Robin Bengtsson would sing 5th, Molly Sandén would sing 6th, Frans would sing 7th and Oscar Zia would sing 8th.
@bella: That should be easy. Assign each contender a number in accordance to the odds as of Saturday night. Put the numbers in a felt bag and pick the numbers out one by one. The contender who corresponds to the first number drawn from the bag is the one who sings first. And so on.
I think that the fairest is a random running order without taking into account who is favorite and who is not!
Frans will probably get one of the last two spots.
will be either Wiktoria or Molly Sanden who will sing last. Ace Wilder will prob be middle performance and if they qualify, Dolly Style/ Isa will be in the first couple of songs performed.
Who sing last in final, will be favorite of SVT to win.
