He’s a singer based in Los Angeles who regularly travels to Moscow to attend glamorous parties and to mingle with the Russian A-list.
And on Monday Alex Sparrow reminded the world why when he Instagrammed a snippet of his cameo in RedOne’s new music video for “Don’t You Need Somebody”.
Instantly likeable and easy-on-the-eyes, Russia’s Eurovision 2011 singer oozes charm and charisma as he dances on the California coast, waving his arms and unfurling his jacket with abandon.

Alex — who Russian fans know as Alexey Vorobyov — is in good company.
The video also features 43 international celebrities, including J.Lo, Ronaldo, Ryan Seacrest, Perez Hilton, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mila Jovovic, Mesut Özil, Shaggy, Just Jared, Thanh Bùi and Tal, who is routinely rumoured as a potential Eurovision candidate for France.
Coincidentally, 43 countries also competed at Eurovision in 2011.
Naturally our eyes focused on the 28-year-old heartthrob, who sang RedOne’s “Get You” at ESC 2011.
RedOne has plenty of Eurovision and Melodifestivalen friends in his Rolodex.
Among others he has written or produced for Jade Ewen (“About A Girl”), Darin (“I Can See U Girl”), Love Generation (“Dance Alone”) and Molly Sandén (“Freak”).
Are you loving Alex’s cameo? Do you want him to reunite with RedOne soon? Let us know in the comments box below!
Spent some additional bit of time for searching about A.Sp.
He is so dull… in everything…
+Glorious
You have the right! 🙂
@Maru fr
You are right but I still find him very attractive.
+Lars
I DENY!!! 🙂
+Glorious
Did you fall in love with him? LOL WELCOME to Russia!!! 😀
There is a lot of guys similar to him here! All through the country!
@Lars
“He seems to get lots of work a lot as an actor in TV productions in Russia.”
Not really.
Yes, it was great seeing his cameo.
Yes, I would like him to aim for an international career again, and it would be great in case RedOne worked with him again.
I really can’t rate his live singing, but he certainly knows how to work a big stage and how to entertain an audience. He seems to get lots of work a lot as an actor in TV productions in Russia.
And there is no denying that the guy is super hot, that’s for sure.
@Plum
OK 🙂
@Glorious
I do not KNOW it.
@Plum
I’m talking about his appearance and nothing else. Off topic: do you know if Sergey is gay? I’m asking just out of curiosity…
@Glorious
Ok, attractive…
Well, I am not much of a judge here…
Maybe he is an attractive guy but an absolute mediocrity from the viewpoint he is doing…
IMHO, as always.
@Plum
I thought you meant it about my second comment. Anyway, I’m not kidding, I find Alex very attractive.
@Glorious
About A.Sp. being hot of course…
And what did you think?
@Maru fr
You obviously don’t get sarcasm… and that’s just your opinion, I think Alex is more handsome than Eric.
@Adam
I agree, although I like his song. The televote placed him 7th because of his looks, but also because it’s Russia. As you said, he can’t sing live and I think that’s why the juries placed him dead last.
+Glorious
What do you mean? Try WHAT?
How he could win on MALE TOP MODEL??? Lol
Eric should have won!!!
Alex is probably the most undeniably hottest guy to ever compete in Eurovision who just so happened to sing a completely terrible song and should’ve got last place. I’m guessing 7th place in the televote was due to his looks (i wouldve voted for him too based solely on his looks lol)
But yeah, he can’t really sing live. Oh well. He should just be a model instead
@Plum
About what?
@Glorious
Let me guess… You are kidding.
@Maru fr
Ha ha, so funny… try better, darling!
+Glorious
WHAT? NO… he is NOT!!! He`s TOO vainglorious!
Alex is so hot!
