They’re the soulful sisters representing the Netherlands at this year’s Eurovision. And last weekend O’G3NE proved they aren’t just heavenly harmonisers: They’re heavenly hosts too. The trio were on hand to meet and greet over 30 Eurovision 2017 acts, who were in Amsterdam to perform at Eurovision In Concert, one of the flagship events of the preview party season.
And while the “Lights And Shadows” songstresses posed for selfies with fellow acts and interviewed with outlets from Dublin to Dubrovnik, Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS was busy recording fellow Eurovision acts trying to pronounce their name and reacting to their song, and let’s just say not everyone nailed it on the first try.
OG’3NE fans will be aware that wiwibloggs cleared this up months ago but clearly not all the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 acts were watching.
If the ladies’ name caused confusion, their performance in Amsterdam left us in little doubt: These ladies are serious contenders to make the final in May.
“Lights And Shadows” is at its strongest live on stage and hearing those harmonies live will rock your world.
OG’3NE’s road to Eurovision
They may not have made appearances at other stops on the promo tour but that does not mean these girls are skipping time on preparations for Kyiv.
The ladies have been busy preparing their choreography for the big stage in Ukraine and sharing candid snaps through their official Instagram channel.
Having made frequent live appearances in the Netherlands, they will be fighting fit for Kyiv, where live vocals will be make or break every act’s chances of reaching the final.
Douwe Bob is a tough act to follow, but we’re confident the girls will do the Netherlands proud in May.

I think you misunderstood what I’ve said.
I meant that being an established figure the possible downfall is less harsh: he will have the parachute, I don’t know how many others would have it in case of non victory. I’m sure Slavador will be good in Potugal but I’m not sure about the others (no offense intented for the others, it’s not a matter of talent, I’m questioning the market).
It’s a fun video, but when that Cornald Maas guy said that they have to use their mother’s desease in the visuals on stage, it left me in shock…
Sergey was big in Russia for many years and Russia was begging him for 8 years to participate. The fact that he still has the market of The Big Fat Mother Russia doesn’t mean that was easy to be 3rd in Eurovision after he thought he has it in his pocket. Francesco Gabbani is so not winning.
@unfair for the others Here, watch dog number 5. 🙂 It’s pretty normal that the favourite (others already told you what favorite means: bookies, polls etc) recieves a lot more attentions than others. It’s natural, that’s how news work but that doesn’t mean he’s winning for sure.
