He’s the Swedish singer whose Eurovision entry went double platinum. Back in June he released “Liar”, and last month Robin Bengtsson dropped his newest single “I Wanna Fall In Love Again“.
Bengtsson spent his summer holidaying in Greece. But thankfully he always seems to have time for new music. “I Wanna Fall In Love Again” is the third release from the Swedish singer-songwriter this year.
And he’s pretty straight forward!
“I’m standing at your front door, now I know just what to say”, Bengtsson sings on the pre-chorus. Also, he’s still fond of dropping f-bombs. “I’m so f***ing tired of being just friends, I wanna fall in love again” — the man isn’t afraid to let us know how he feels.
The first iteration of his Eurovision entry “I Can’t Go On” memorably contained multiple instances of the swear word too. However, he replaced the offending word with “fricking” for both the Melodifestivalen final and his trip to Kyiv.
The track is an upbeat song which carries on the vibe of his previous release “Liar”. Lyrically, though, it sets a different tone. Bengtsson describes a relationship that’s right on the borderline. Moreover, he is sick and tired of having a friendship and wants to go a step further. However, the other person doesn’t feel the same. How dare she!

I love his new song!
Still surprises me how he came 5th last year. Sweden are just so overrated (as always)
Got to agree with you. Couldn’t stand his song in 2017, and this one is also generic pop, albeit less cheesy.
