Måneskin flew to to Gothenberg, Sweden, where they performed on the popular summertime singalong show Lotta på Liseberg.

It was the first episode of the 2021 series, and organisers were able to include a live audience. While the audience was limited to 500, the crowd of enthusiastic Måneskin fans more than made up with their with their cheering.

The Italian rockers were pretty in pink, wearing coordinated suits in shades of pink and red. Lead singer Damiano saw in the warmer weather by rocking pink hot pants under a suit jacket as he performed “Zitti e buoni”.

The group also performed their album track and breakout hit “I Wanna Be Your Slave”. Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan thrilled the Liseberg audience with their live rock performance.

While their second performance wasn’t part of the broadcast TV show, the song is already racking up plenty of views on YouTube.

The show also included a performance from Clara Klingenström, who performed her anthemic Melodifestivalen 2021 hit “Behöver inte dig idag”.

I wanna be your slave so much better than Zitti e buoni, you can hear how the audience all sing along to it.

I don’t agree, I wanna be your slave is quite simplistic, actually in terms of what they have produced, if not the most simplistic it’s right up there near the top.
Bear in mind this is not me saying it’s rubbish because I have yet to hear a bad song they have released. I’m simply saying they have material most of their other material actually that is far superior, in my opinion of course…

I would also like to add that while I know that Zitti e buoni along with I wanna be your slave are the ones that are having chart success, it is because these two songs are the ones that are being thrust down people’s throats, that’s how the charts work and often why they are full of very mediocre music. For the most part the charts represent what the music industry/media forces you to like (x factor) and are as I said above the reason why they are not only often full of mediocre music, they are also often full… Read more »

If Clara Klingenström had won Melodifestivalen, she would probably give Sweden a better result this year based on the outcomes in Rotterdam.

Just because some songs in native language worked doesnt mean everybody will vote for any songs in native language. They need to have an impact and I’m not sure she had it compared o France or Switzerland.

What I mean is that based on the preference for quality music this year, Sweden wouldn’t have tanked at #14. lol

And again, seeing how strong songs are it¨s doubtful a simple guitar song would reach top 10. She probably would have done as well as Tuuse, if not slightly worse

Simplicity is key, Clara’s performance would have been so emotional, not the kind of ‘emotional’ as in Barbara’s performance but a bit of both worlds, sadness and wholesomeness combined, easy top10 spot, I would see it around 6th or 7th

As a swede i think bulgaria was much better than Clara so she would probably end up around same place as Tusse maybe one or two places above, abit like Norways song

Damn it, they are freaking sexy.. I wish they competed with ‘I wanna be your slave’ at the Eurovision, because I genuinely dislike ‘Zitti e buoni’… Anyway, I’m glad they are getting what they deserve.

Personally I think while both songs are OK to me, having listened to pretty much all their material, Zitti E Buoni and I Wanna Be Your Slave are quite close to their least impressive work.

They have many songs that are far better than these two at least to my taste anyway.

What I would say they do have is charisma that’s off the chart and that could pretty much make you like anything they sing, especially in a live environment…

when I heard zitti e buoni for the first time in sanremo I was quite underwhelmed too! I’ve warmed up to it somewhat but I still dislike I wanna be your slave. And I agree, Torna a casa and Morirò da Re are leagues above their two new hits.

Give me Vent’anni, Torna a casa, Morirò da Re, Le parole lontane, Coraline, La paura del buio… those are songs I can listen to over and over and over again, those are songs that I will keep coming back too, I do also have a preference for their rock ballads rather than their heavier full on rock hence why those songs in particular. If I’m honest I’ve not disliked any of their songs be they in Italian or English, there are however certainly ones I prefer and the ones mentioned above are in my opinion all also leagues above their… Read more »
