She’s the Benidorm Fest champion on the hunt for Eurovision gold. And now, the “Eaea” songstress is taking her traditional Spanish sound to the British capital. Spain’s Blanca Paloma is our next confirmed act for the London Eurovision Party 2023.
On Sunday 16 April, Blanca Paloma will bring nu-flamenco to London at the UK’s biggest and best Eurovision warm-up party. At our state of the art 2000-capacity venue at HERE at Outernet, Blanca Paloma joins a star-studded lineup as they perform their Eurovision track on British soil for the first time.
Blanca Paloma confirmed for London Eurovision Party 2023
Blanca Paloma, 33, is an emerging artist who has mainly performed in theatre and has always been behind the scenes until last year, when she got her chance to perform her original song “Secreto de agua” at Benidorm Fest 2022. It was also on the soundtrack of RTVE’s documentary series Lucía en la Telaraña.
One year later, Blanca made her Benidorm Fest return and took the crown with her song “Eaea”. Her song is a lullaby and the lyrics are directed to a child. It’s a message from Blanca’s grandmother’s culture and roots to herself.
Blanca Paloma will sing “Eaea” for Spain at Eurovision 2023.

I LOVE the song.I know It is not a easy song nor mainstream but i think is a sincere and unique somg
Fun fact – Spanish TVE has already purchased the strings curtain for 5000 euros.
Is it really that expensive? Even that massive moon from 2021 was cheaper, if I remember correctly.
They might be designed by an artist and be like some kind of a “unique piece (of art)” so I imagine it may be expensive to procure.
Most likely, I feel like the cost of that material can’t be the main reason for it to be so expensive.
Looking forward to more live performances of Eaea to get a sense of how Blanca connects to audiences outside of Spain.
Like a physalis, there’s something sweet and bitter about Eaea, it’s raw and harsh but also earthy and soulful. A compelling self-portrait of her grandmother, and the culture of her ancestors, captured in song.
The inferior Blanca
I hope she’ll end up in top 5. Her performance is pure art.
Daha önce ara?t?r?p pek Türkçe kaynak bulamad???m sorundu Elinize sa?l?k eminim arayan çok ki?i vard?r.
The second part is still talking about Let 3 here instead of Blanca
I am not sure if Blanca’s ‘strategy’ is right. I think she wants to save her performance and song for the Esc Big Final and i Guess on these preparties she Will be singing an acoustic version of her song. This could be ok for a Spanish audience which might be used to this kind of sounds and music but for a non Spanish audience an acoustic flamenco version might be a little bit disappointing.
Just a little bit!
Off topic: Laura Valenzuela, host of Eurovision 1969 in Madrid, passed away earlier today.
May she rest in peace.
May she rest in peace.
