What do you think of “Loviu”? Is Sandra Valero one of your favourites in this year’s contest? Let us know in the comments below.
This is my winner for JESC 2023. The song is constant fun and joy put into three minutes. Even if most of the chorus is just “I love you” in another language, it’s effective. Besides, it’s not like a kids’ song needs to have insane poetic and lyrical depth. The music video already looked amazing, and I really hope that the staging will be just as joyful, colorful and such. I’ve seen a YouTuber call this entry an early Christmas gift, and I have to agree. This is a clear 10/10 for me and I hope for Sandra to win… Read more »
Its Such Pretencious Song . I Think This Might Win But I Will Be Angery If It Did, Germany Much More Deserwes This
It’s kid friendly. Maybe it’s more understandable por spanish speaking people. The message is adorable!
Kid Freindly Yes It Sounds Right Front Dizney Channel .. Wery Menufactured And Similar To Swedish Music Just Has No Soul And Trying So Hard To Be Something Great
It’s a nice song. It’s not my no. 1 but I like it
OT – Eesti Laul participants and song titles will apparently be revealed on 6 and 7 November!!
the title isn’t even a word, pretentious song
Very nice, catchy and kid-friendly song!! My favourite this year, Spain really deserves a second win, almost 20 years after its first victory. And i would love to see next year contest in Madrid/Barcelona or Sevilla:)
I haven’t listened to the song yet but the lyrics are nice – age appropriate and meaningful. They really made me think of a world that is more beautiful, kinder and happier.
This along with france is my favourite to win. I think it is definitely between those two so im excited to see how it plays out
Much better than last year’s Spanish song. It almost makes me think the junior contest is worth it. I don’t actually like the song, but I am not the target audience, children, and that’s the way it should be.
I’d love jesc to have only kids as members of the jury, and only kids, but as the jury of each countries is made by THREE adults and only TWO kids, some countries often the same, play with that, and bring adult songs performed by kids to please the adults jurors.
It would be cool to know if this contest is watched mainly by kids, by teenagers or by adults. But as the Ebu presents it as a family show, then the adults and the teenagers are welcome too and to please them, to have them engaged during the show it needs more “mature” songs I guess. I don’t agree but the Ebu wants to make the maximum of audience to make the maximum of money so they try to have a line up pleasing everybody. Since 2021 only the more adultish songs of their respective years have won the televote… Read more »
Spain wants points from Portugal France and Italy 😉
Good luck to her, wish her the best and to have fun.
-4, oh ok they don’t need points then, they don’t wish her good luck, and don’t want her to have fun apparently….the eurofans are SO great sometimes….
This is one of the songs that is age appropriate to the contest. Simple catchy but plainly child like. Is it the best song in the contest? In my opinion no. Do i dislike it? no, but it fits the criteria of the contest and is sung and performed well (as per video). Potential winner.
It is one of the happiest and most Junior songs on the edition. With a good staging I think it could finish top 3 or even win.
I think it is a great potential winner of Junior Eurovision 2023. It could perfectly be the anthem of the contest
I love this song. She is a great contender to win the contest this year
Cute song. They should have had an “I love you” in some other language instead of “mon amour”, it just doesn’t sound right AT ALL. And it’s totally ok to have cake for dinner, it’s just a matter of ingredients. You can make a savoury cake too if you wish to.
“Mon amour, je t’aime” might just be a nod to France as hosts, different and not better than “Ich liebe dich, mein Schatz”.
