Greece will select its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 tonight at 20:00 CET in a national final full of surprises, glamour and gossip. Mary Sinatsaki and Doretta Papadimitriou will host Eurosong 2015 – A NERIT and MAD show, which will see five acts fight for the win. They are — in the running order — C:REAL with “Crash and Burn”, Thomai Apergi & Legend with “Jazz & Sirtaki”, Barrice with “Ela”, Shaya Hansen with “Sunshine” and Maria-Elena Kyriakou with “One Last Breath”. The show will be broaddcast live on Eurovision Web TV, and also through NERIT.
HELENA PAPARIZOU TO PERFORM “RISE LIKE A PHOENIX”
It is a trend that every country at its national final: someone has to sing Conchita’s winning song. In Greece, Helena Paparizou will perform “Rise Like A Phoenix”, but also her new song “Otan Aggeli Klene” (“When Angels Cry”). Hopefully they won’t be crying over her rendition of Conchita’s song. (We doubt it — Helena is always on point).
Loukas Giorkas (Greece 2011), Thanos Kalliris (Greece 1987), Freaky Forune & Riskykidd (Greece 2014) and Giannis Karagiannis (Cyprus 2015) will also perform their entries. Meanwhile, ONE, the Cypriot boyband which represented Cyprus in 2002, will reunite after a 13-year absence.
Shaya Hansen is the huge favourite to win Eurosong 2015 with her song “Sunshine.” She looks stunning, especially in the dress she has chosen for the event. It is a huge black dress, which exposes some parts of Shaya’s beautiful body. Rumour mill says that the lower part of it will be removed during her performance. Yay!
DEMONSTRATION OUTSIDE THE VENUE
For the third year in a row, former Metropolis employees will demonstrate against the owner of this branch, who is also the owner of MAD TV, the music channel that organises the national final.
