They may have missed out on a grand final berth at Eurovision 2018, but FYR Macedonia’s Eye Cue have found a new sound post-Eurovision — and it’s giving us major summer vibes.
The ‘Lost and Found’ duo, comprised of Bojan Trajkovski and Marija Ivanovska, feature in rising up-and-comer Tatjana’s single ‘On My Mind’. Maria and Tatjana sing about complicated love and letting go — erasing that man from their past and making a plan to move on. And what better way to move on than by soaking in some summer sun with a glass of bubbly in hand.
Both Maria and Tatjana ooze charisma in the official clip, giving us sultry, giving us sexy and working all angles. Maria’s obviously left her Barbara Dex award win well behind her in Lisbon, mixing up short denim hot pants with a flowy, off-the-shoulder kaftan. She’s telling her man she’s really over him, but giving him one last tease. She’ll show you how it’s done.
Bojan does his thing on the guitar, strumming away to the summer beat while the girls take a wander on the open seas. Dressed in a linen white shirt and a hat to make Poland’s Gromee envious — boy, does Bojan know how to strike a pose.
‘On My Mind’ marks Tatjana’s first foray into music. The singer, who was born in the Caribbean and now calls FYR Macedonia home, has brought Eye Cue’s tropical feel from ‘Lost and Found’ to her debut single.
She’s a show of talent, and could be a strong contender to represent FYR Macedonia at Eurovision in the future.
