They took home the victory in Germany’s national final Unser Lied fĂŒr Israel with their powerful pop ballad “Sister”, but now the duo has shown us a whole new side to their song.
On the German tv show “DAS”, Carlotta Truman and Laurita Spinelli sing an acoustic version of “Sister”, and the two singers pamper us with a much more warm-hearted and intimate song.
The two women were flanked by a piano, as they stand opposite each other singing “Sister” in a slow tempo, allowing their voices to really shine through. Their performance is both endearing and enticing at the same time.
The acoustic version also strips the song of much of its inherent drama simply because the tempo is more calm making their voices soft and sweet. If we didn’t already know it, this version truly reveals just how strong vocalists Carlotta and Laurita are.
First rehearsal coming up
As one of the Big Five countries, Germany and S!sters are having their baptism of fire on Friday when their first rehearsal takes place. The duo has already revealed that their moving podium won’t be a part of the staging in Tel Aviv, so it will be interesting to see what the German team has planned instead.

They are very likable but I hate that they are called S!sters and that their song is named “Sister”. They have good voices and the song is good though.
Its so freakin awesome. I hope they will do well in Tel Aviv cause they deserve it. They are in top 5 of live vocals but the song is little bit mehh đ
