With pandemic restrictions still in place, fans aren’t seeing the usual live events on the pre-party calendar. But there’s plenty of action online. This year Hrvatski Eurovizijski Klub (the Croatian Eurovision Club) has organised the first-ever Adriatic PreParty. It will feature performances from 15 of this year’s competing acts.
The live-streamed event will take place this Saturday, 1 May. It will begin broadcasting at 21:00 CET and will be streamed on Hrvatski Eurovizijski Klub’s YouTube channel.

Eurovision 2021 pre-parties
Restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic have meant that the usual Eurovision pre-party calendar is looking very different this year. Big live events such as the London Eurovision Party and Eurovision In Concert have been indefinitely postponed.
However, for the second year in a row, Spain’s PrePartyES has continued in a virtual format. Last Saturday 30 of the 39 competing acts gave “at home” performances of their Eurovision entries.
The Wiwi Jam at Home is also back for 2021. The concert will take place on the wiwibloggs YouTube channel the evening of Wednesday May 19 — in between the Eurovision semi-finals. The good and the great of the song contest will be celebrating their fans and each other. There are lots of surprises to be announced. See y’all there!
I just purely adore how amazing Roxen is!
I saw a video on her video director’s Instagram CRISTIANMIRON behind scene of making Amnesia…… she was crying at the very ending of the recordings and this scene make my day!
Rooting for her this year!
One more Esc preparty, a new one! It’s very cool! But why some acts don’t participate in any of these preparties? I mean it’s about to make a performance from your home, or somewhere in your home country, it’s not like they had to take a long trip so it’s not a big organisation, then it’s not so difficult to participate you just have to sing, it doesn’t take so much time….. some acts have forgotten the fans this year….as the preparties are purely for the fans. 31 acts out of 39 have already performed in one of the preparties… Read more »
I heard that Greece hasn’t because the greek broadcaster wanted to be the ones to show the first live performance
Also Fyr of flamme were in concert in the dark
Great to see this initiative from Croatia! Congrats
Can’t wait for Maneskin!
This is nice!!! I’m just a bit sad, that, like every Eurovision year, not all the participants get to take part in the preparties
Lorena slays and should definitely represent Croatia in upcoming years. I still can’t get over ‘Tower of Babylon’. 🙂
Why is Gjons Tears not performing at any preparty???
Because he is hyper-confident for his act probably…
And what about Tix, Eden, Ana, Fyr & Flamne, Tornike and Blind Channel? Are they hyper-confident too?
We can’t know the real reason, last year Gjon participated in Spain Pre Party and he didn’t need to promote his song since tha contest was… you know…
Probably his team keeps him a bit too busy these days
Can’t wait for Barbara and Roxen!!! I heard that Roxen prepared a big surprise
Oh yes. In my opinion, ‘Oro’ is the best Serbian entry 🙂
You should then listen to Jelena Tomasevic ‘Jutro’ from Beovizija 2005. That one was many people’s favorite and Serbs mostly prefer it to ‘Oro’ afaik. She ended up not going to ESC that year due to shady voting of the Montenegrin part of the jury (they didn’t give her a single point even though she was a favorite by far + song was by the ever-so-successful Z.Joksimovic). Same shady voting happened in 2006, when there ended up being a huge scandal. The head of the Montenegrin jury later on kinda admitted that they voted politically, it was right before the… Read more »
Oh, yes. I know the entire story behind the national competition that year… My girlfriend (who is from Montenegro) cried because of the political voting. ‘Jutro’ is just a great song. It showcases Jelena’s vocal abilities. It’s definitely stronger than ‘Oro’ but the latter one is, in my opinion, the best song a hosting country has ever sent to the competition.
Excited to see again Barbara, Maneskin & Roxen <3
(and also Lesley, who’s very talented and maybe Jendrik who is very funny and so lovely !).
