One of the most significant events in the lives of the Russian elite, the GQ “Human of the Year” Awards recently unfolded in all their glory in Moscow. It had everything: a red carpet, a luxurious atmosphere, a strict dress code and plenty of well-known guests. Among the many starlets was Eurovision 2015 singer Polina Gagarina.
Polina came not just to chill and have a nice evening, but also to take home some hardware. That’s because after a long period of voting, and mostly from the magazine’s male readership, Polina won Woman of the Year! We’re sure she was already on your list anyway.
Polina has, in a relatively short period of time, made the Russian public fall in love with her. Many in Russia predicted that she would finish around 15th with her song “A Million Voices”, but she went on to grab second place — and with Russia’s highest-ever points total. A series of high-profile public appearances — like the Muz TV Awards and the World Cup Allocation Draw — have followed. This is how it’s done!
What do you think? Is Polina your woman of the year? Let us know in the comments box below!

Love her! very humble and open-minded person
Polina is a star. IMO she put in the best performance at Eurovision thus year. Congratulations to her.
the poeple who booed…PATHETIC UNINTELLIGENT CHILIDSH LOSERS!
It’s really smart of her to capitalize on her success, I can imagine her being one of the more successful former Eurovision stars tbh..
I expected around 15th place before the contest too, then during rehearsals she jumped all the way to my 1st spot.
15th would have been about right….
