During Eurovision 2018 she sang about breaking down barriers. And today Christabelle Borg — Malta’s Eurovision 2018 star — broke down any and all divisions with beau Jordan Camilleri as the pair were joined in holy matrimony…forever.
Capturing the glamour and emotions of the day, the “Taboo” singer uploaded a lovely snap to Instagram of her friends and glam squad prepping her to walk down the aisle.
“Just before the deed,” she wrote in the caption. “This is truly turning out to be the best day of my life.”
Christabelle and Jordan held the wedding at Imdina Cathedral, in Mdina, and celebrated their nuptials in front of close friends. Wearing a voluminous white gown with white lace floral detailing, the reigning Eurovision queen of Malta looked every inch the part.
Today was the culmination of nearly a decade of friendship.
The pair met when they were in Sixth Form at St Aloysius College nine years ago. Yes, it was the beginning of their love story! They’re now both aged 26.
Christabelle — who wore one of the longest wedding trains we have ever seen! — represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon. Jordan is a doctor and waterpolo player for Malta’s national team.
We wish them all the best during the next phase of their romance!

Is sixth form the equivalent of middle school/high school in the US?
In Malta, sixth form is two years of post-secondary education, where students prepare for their A levels. It’s the last stage before university, so students are usually 16 to 18.
In that case, by age 17, they’d would probably be juniors (third year) in high school.
