Will Sweden and Armenia lead the way?

As of April 12, Wiwi’s readers have cast 1,063 votes to determine who will win the first semi-final at Eurovision 2011, and 706 votes to determine who will win the second semi-final.

In the first semi, Armenia’s Emmy appears to have overcome the controversy surrounding her song “Boom Boom” and now stands in first place with 23% of all votes. She’s followed by Poland’s Magdalena Tul (“Jestem”) who earned 16% of all votes, and Hungary’s Kati Wolf (“What About My Dreams?”) with 10%. Of these three contestants, the bookies have consistently rated Kati as the most likely to win. Given her approval from fans and betting agencies alike, she poses a serious threat. According to Wiwi’s poll, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Greece, Norway, Russia, Albania and Serbia will also advance to the final. San Marino’s Senit will finish last.
