“Boom bang-a-bang” singer and 1969 Eurovision winner Lulu has been hotting up the stage on Britain’s reality competition “Strictly Come Dancing.”

The 62-year old performed the cha cha during week 1, earning a score of 17. But she upped her ante during week 2, raising her score to 25 with a much more polished performance of the foxtrot.

Lulu is the latest in a long string of Eurovision stars who have turned to reality dance shows to fill their time (or, perhaps, to keep themselves relevant) in recent years. Last week Wiwi posted footage of Norway’s Stella Mwangi on ‘Skal vi danse,’ Norway’s version of the show. Following Eurovision 2010 Paula Seling did the same thing in Romania, as did her Eurovision predecessor Elena Gheorghe the year before.
