In just over 24 hours we will finally know who will represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2015 in Austria. After months of online voting and expert checks, the Die Grosse Entscheidungsshow process comes to a conclusion on Saturday night at 20:10 CET. We’ll publish a post with all the viewing links soon. But first, we need to determine the contenders.
For almost two months we’ve been asking y’all to vote for your favourites in our poll. After counting 1,957 votes, we can now reveal the act you want to represent the Swiss in Vienna. Topping the poll in a landslide of 913 votes, Timebelle and “Singing About Love” is clearly the people’s choice. Fusing together jazz, country and rock, their sound harkens back to best of Romania’s Mandinga and Germany’s Elaiza. This national selection looks like theirs to lose.

The only other act to receive a decent percentage of the vote was Mélanie René, with 477 readers voting for her entry, “Time To Shine”.

Tiziana, Licia Chery and Deborah Bough battle it out mid-table, while Andy McSean, the only male soloist in the competition, brings up the rear with only 82 votes.

Eurovision.tv has just referred to SRF if y’all want to watch it live. I was able to watch the Expert Check auditions through their website though.
I don’t care what they’ll choose. All of the songs are boring and unoriginal.
Timebelle sounds a lot like the Romanian pop band Mandinga, so we have this groovy Balkan pop sound that is infectious and frivolous together with a feelgood factor that the band encapsulates so candidly that there’s no way this song can fail to qualify. It’s a safe bet, but I don’t see it making a lot of headway in the final where it’s likely to sink to the bottom half of the scoreboard. I personally prefer Licia Chery and her Deep South Gospel revival music…
I’m Swiss and would LOVE to see Timebelle representing us in Austria. I really hope the jury and the viewers will vote for them, it’s our only chance to get to the final.

It’s all going to come down to the performances. I still don’t get the hype over Timebelle and their song, but good luck to all six finalists competing in Kreuzlingen!
I don’t get it. Such a cheezy song..unless only 12 year old girls are voting. That would make sense.
I think that timebelle is the best choice for Switzerland in terms of them qualifying to the grand final of eurovision 2015. Fingers crossed they don’t have a disaster on Saturday night
