The first semi-final of Eesti Laul 2015 took place earlier this evening. Ten songs competed, but only five passed through to the final after a split jury and televote. You can check out the first set of finalists below. Do y’all hear any potential winners?

The jury’s five favourite acts were revealed during the televoting in a random order. They definitely had a different opinion with the public in some cases! Their votes can be seen below (jury top five shown on the right):

The second semi-final of Eesti Laul 2015 will take place on 14 February. Ten more songs will compete for the final five spots in the final with the outcome to be decided by the combination of votes from a jury and televoting. Will fan favourites Elina Born & Stig Rästa live up to the hype?
This is maybe one of the worst years of Eesti Laul.
Last year, Estonia had so many great songs!
But 2015… :/
Liis Lemsalu should advance to the final (like 2013). Hold On was one of the best yesterday.
For me song Goodbye to yesterday is so overrated with Eurovision fan from all over the worlds. Song is good but not winning material or TOP 3 . We know that Estonia want maybe to be The Neterlands 2014 in Eurovision 2015.
Definitely some surprises, like Blurry Lane, suspecting teenager votes but great to see newcomers getting through. Keep in mind how small country Estonia is, every vote counts so surprises are bound to happen. Happy for the elephants, the foofighterish sound is definitely world class and Estonia will be too small for them soon enough. So happy Unriddle Me is through gutted about Paev Korraga though, great song. Absoutely despise Superlove, but hey, I’m pretty sure Goodbye To Yesterday will be what’s in Vienna. Cant wait 😀

urgh between Sweden Denmark and Estonia I feel like I’m going to throw up.
I’m really surprised by the qualifiers but eh this is Estonia expect the unexpected from the country that didn’t even let Sandra Nurmsalu into the superfinal. There’s not many songs in Eesti Laul that I dislike this year so I can’t necessarily be mad with the qualifiers, but I am really disappointed my favourite Miina didn’t make it.

Overall good choices. Superlove must be the catchiest out of the bunch. My personal favorite of the evening would be Unriddle Me. It’s quirky and unusual, so I like it.
