He’s one of the most versatile Russian Eurovision artists, having worked as an actor, movie director and composer as well as a singer. Now Alexey Vorobyov (aka Alex Sparrow) has just released his new single “Samaya krasivaya” — and putting his talents to use, he’s directed a quirky music video full of pranks and mischief.

Alexey has been extremely busy this summer, having already released three music videos. And there’s a connection to his new video: “Samaya krasivaya” (which translates into “The most beautiful”) is a sequel to the earlier “Sumasshedshaya” prank music video starring Polina Maximova.

The “Samaya krasivaya” video features the same characters, same story, same love… but different pranks! Now it’s even more harsh, with Alexey showing off his talent for stuntwork as well as physical comedy.

As he sings, “She doesn’t know that there’s no one in the world who’s more beautiful than her”, his love interest takes him for a ride in her car — only he’s clinging to the hood, eventually falling into a pile of trash.

But our Sparrow ain’t nobody’s fool either. He puts glue on his girlfriend’s curling iron, making her cut her blonde curls afterwards. Alex has even shared the moment before that prank on his Instagram:

Not surprisingly, the desperate lovers end up in hospital with broken bones after falling out of a window together. But the story has its happy ending. The couple confess their love to each other and escape from the hospital… probably on to new adventures and pranks.

WIWIBLOGGS,
Sergey Lazarev’s single “Idealy Mir” officially issued without any video over a week ago was much more worth mentioning.

You deliberately picked the most homoerotic screenshot you could find, right?

I like it.

Really fun music video, but the song is way too similar to his last single imo.
