Every night we see stars in the sky. And now, courtesy of Senhit jumping out of a plane, we’re seeing one in broad daylight too.

Yes, Senhit — San Marino’s Eurovision 2021 star — has just raised our adrenaline levels with what must be the most daring Eurovision tease ever. She jumps out of a plane with a parachute that says “Senhit — Adrenalina” as we hear a clip of what may very well be San Marino’s most modern entry yet.

And there’s a very big bonus. In the tease of her song you hear Flo Rida proudly announce that he is here to feel the rush with the Freaky Queen. The Florida-born rapper has collabed with greats including Sia, Ke$ha, T-Pain, Maluma, Jennifer Lopez and so many others.

What follows is an extensive interview we filmed with Senhit moments before she took her magical dive from the sky. She recounts her vision for her Freaky Trip to Rotterdam and relives some of the artistic highlights of her past year. At 30:04 in the video, she also plays us a snippet of the song and we react.

Senhit teases Eurovision 2021 song “Adrenalina” feat. Flo Rida

I wasn’t complaining. Just surprised that many people were needed in creating a song. 😛 They’ve been doing a stellar job.

As long it’s a hit and the song is executed well on stage, Mr Bean and Kellyanne Conway could write it, for all I care. 😛

San Marino top 5 and if juries help #1. Especially with Flo Rida they are going to get massive televote points (even tho in that song Flo Rida is not really important)

If Sweden select Eric Saade then Eurovision is already decided given the jury televote split unless gjon serves something magical.

I mean…Eric Saade’s good, but that performance doesn’t give me winner vibes at all. I could see it being like “Dance You Off” maybe (jury smash, televote shrug), but an overall winner?

Have you seen the reception Every Minute has received from international fans? Spotify, YouTube etc. it’s way more popular than any other melodifestivalen act. Would do especially well in Eastern Europe. Also, who’d even come close in the jury vote? I’d put a hundred million dollars on the line that Eric Saade will win Eurovision if he wins melodifestivalen. I’m that confident about it.

Not bad for San Marino standards but I’d say it comes like 10 years later. “Freaky” had that disco vibe that make a difference even if it was a bit trashy.

Also I don’t think Flo Rida is travelling to Roterdam just to say those words. His vocals will probably be recorded as backvocals. Or sung by an “anynomous” singer.

I do agree with you, nowadays he is not as big as he was back in the early 2010s, and sure, his presence doesn’t have to mean a better placing. But he is still one of the most comercially successful artists to take part in Eurovision, and the song itself might be one of the best of the bunch we’ve got so far, and also, who knew he would be in to enter the contest for SAN MARINO! That in itself is, or at least I see it as, a huge achievement for the smallest country that participates in Eurovision

Agree. And the presence of Flo Rida doesn’t make the song good. It’s a trashy turd, I’m afraid to say. I bet people wouldn’t be freaking out this much if the exact same rap would be sung by some unknown rapper…

Flo Rida’s existence gives to San Marino at least 70 more points than they would get in general. He is a celebrity.

Imagine Adele being sent to Eurovision or Zara Larsson to Sweden and Rita Ora to Albania. They will get huuuge number of votes because of the fame of the artist

It stems from jokes about poor countries holding the contest in a field or a garden shed. San marino isn’t poor, but they have nowhere to host if they win, so they’d have to host it in their most famous residents house, Eurovision icon Valentina Monetta

Congratulations San Marino for winning Eurovision. With Florida engaged on san marino entry, they will break for sure the biggest televote score in ESC History Thanks first to the song but Also thanks to Florida international fanbase who will for sure massively for him, in a level that even TIX fanbase in Norway Fanny can’t even imagine reach. I don’t see how countries like France or Italy or Lithuania can hope and imagine winning now. With him on the stage, the televote impact will be even bigger

Sorry to disappoint you but Flo Rida doesn’t have hardcore fans that would vote for him, he hasn’t had a single success since 2015 and hasn’t been able to keep up with how the music industry changed in the streaming era. So no way this is gonna happen. Still, his name is well known and it would create a lot of buzz for this entry.
