It’s that time of year again. As May approaches, we’re all jumping aboard the Eurovision hype train. And as we get closer to our destination in Rotterdam, we’re asking our readers about the acts they’re most excited for. Today, we’re taking a look at the groups and duos competing in Eurovision 2021.
Groups and duos at Eurovision 2021
Of the nine group artists appearing at Eurovision 2021, five are returning acts from 2020. Daði og Gagnamagnið, The Roop, Hurricane, Go_A and Hooverphonic were all set to represent their countries prior to the 2020 contest’s cancellation. They were all subsequently given the comeback ticket. The remaining four acts are song contest newcomers. Fyr og Flamme, Blind Channel, The Black Mamba and Måneskin all represent their countries for the first time.
This year marks a decade since the last time a group or duo lifted the Eurovision trophy. In 2011, Ell and Nikki took the crystal microphone back home to Azerbaijan — scoring the nation its first song contest win. Could another group victory be on the horizon?

Note, for the purposes of this poll, we are not counting Senhit and Flo Rida as a duo. Instead, we have included Senhit in our solo female poll. That’s in accordance with how the San Marino entry is listed by the EBU on Eurovision.tv. Flo Rida will only join Senhit in Rotterdam if circumstances allow him to travel.

Måneskin are my absolute favorite with Zitti e buoni. Love the band and the song. I also like The wrong place, Dark side and Discoteque.
Måneskin and Blind channel. Italy’s song has grown on me so much these past two weeks and now I love it and I like their style. They are my favorites for the win this year. However.. that probobly won’t happen..
Anything could happen! I’d be over the moon if they somehow win.
The Roop and Go-A
I really like Hurricane, Måneskin, and Blind Channel. I guess I am a big fan of high energy songs :))
Dadi og Gagnamagdid and Blind Channel – but I haven’t felt compelled to seek out their other works as I have with a couple of the solo acts.
Portugal, Finland and Italy are my favourites here. All 3 in my top 6/7 too.

Tbh I LIVE for Hurricane and Måneskin. They are the best musicians I ever discovered through esc. I know that their music couldnt be different hahaha
The last time a band/group won Eurovision was with Lordi, so I would love if it happens again. We have a strong group of groups (sic) this year.
Maneskin, Go_A, The Roop, Dadi and his friends and Hooverphonic are my personal favorites.
I hope this year winner will be one from this poll… It’s been a while since a band/group has won and this year they are very strong.

Hooverphonic for me, I really love all their discography, but also Dadi are sooo good. I don’t like Zitti e Buoni very much, but totally love other songs from Måneskin.
EDIT: How could I forget Go_A, I love all their folk songs.
Lithuania and Serbia are my top 2 group singers.
Groups are really strong this year. Italy is my favorite in this poll and is 2nd of my overall top. Then come Iceland and Lithuania (4th and 5th), Belgium (7th), Portugal (9th), Finland (13th), Ukraine (20th), Serbia (29th) and Denmark (37th).
I know that Portugal in the top 10 is not a popular opinion.
Portugal is my number 1 atm. But yeah, most people don’t seem to like it
