Croatia, the first winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, will be making some little Croatian kid’s dream come true very soon as they will be present in Malta for the 11th edition of the contest.

Yes, we are very excited to announce that after immense speculation, Zagreb will send a competitor to try and win the contest a second time for Croatia.
In other news, it seems as though Croatia will not be Building Bridges to Vienna in 2015 as the country announces that it will once again be staying away from the contest. HRT reportedly withdrew from Copenhagen due to financial difficulties and lack of success in the contest.
It looks like we will just have to pleasure ourselves with past Croatian entries for now. Here’s a couple to get you started:
So what do you think. Will Croatia be missed in Vienna? Will you not be able to Celebrate without them? Let us know.
Some good news from Croatia…
It seems it will be back for 2016! There is article in (relevant and not gossip) Croatian newspaper, Jutarnji list about The Voice…It is mentioned in article that HRT has in plan to select esc representative through The Voice for next year…Let’s hope it is true…Article also says HRT is in late with The Voice preparations this year (so it will be finished in April instead of February)…And we had rumor mil that Croatian representative this year will be selected through The Voice…Let’s hope for another year then…

They might regret their decision, but this is just me speaking.
*slow clap for idiocy to Croatia*
That was expected,
Maybe in 2016.
And today’s stupid award goes to Croatia
If they cited “lack of success in recent years” it’s because they always sent dull songs. The only recent entry I liked (or probably I could compromised) is probably Nina Badric. I think it’s okay for them to stay away from Eurovision for a little while until they can figure out how to select a proper song, so they will not agonize themselves by saying “we lack of success”.
If they ever want to come back to the “regular” competition … they have to step up their game … because up until now their glory days remain in the second half of the 90s … and then … it all faded away … both in music and in Eurovision success …
If their sole motivation to participate on that (for me: dreadful) Junior-thing is the fact that they won in 2003 … vagillions years ago … to put it nicely … then fine … whatever happens, they have only themselves to blame.
I don’t think they should have gone to the junior Eurovision. They should have gone to the adult one because it’s the sixth anniversary of the contest this has not made my day đ
Look I am very happy that they will be at JESC. But if you just spend your money at the adultversion and just try hard enough they can actually succeed in being succesful.
A really dumb decision if you ask me.
Croatia once again withdrawing from the regular Eurovision :'( But I’m glad they return to Junior Eurovision after 7 years!
P.S.: I want another male singer to present Croatia this year in JESC
That’s simply stupid. They spend Money for Broadcast it on HRT2 with low audience but not for adult. HRT be more professional!
