Cyprus is coming back to Eurovision with a bang. It’s been nearly 2 months since CyBC began broadcasting the Eurovision Song Project, and we now know the six finalists: Hovig, Doody, Panagiotis Koufogiannis, Minus One, Giannis Karagiannis and Nearxos Evangelou feat. Charis Savva. Who will represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna? You will find out on Sunday, February 1 at 20:05 CET. Until then, you can support your favourite act by voting in our poll below. You can vote for as many acts as you would like, but you can only vote ONE time. You posted the video clip of Panayiotis Koufogiannis’ song and this is unfair for the other songs. If you watch the Eurovision Song Project you will realize that this song is not so impressive. I believe that ‘Deila den agapw’ should represent Cyprus in Eurovision this year! In my opinion, the girl has the best voice of all!
The only one that stands a chance in Vienna is “Shine”. The rest are not very good. Kind of boring and not remembered. Eurovision needs something memorable and noticeable. Like “Shine”.
Shine with Minus One is THE BEST.
Shine with Minus One is by far my favorite. In my opinion, the only song that will get a great place in Austria.

The best by far is Shine by Minus One. No comparison. It is the only song out of the 6 that will actually be strong enough to pass the semi-finals in Austria and go to the finals. Without your love makes me go to sleep and the singer’s voice is really bad. The other one Deila den agapo is not too bad but it is old fashioned and the girl’s French are very bad. So, Shine it is 🙂

Deila den agapw must win. It’s an amazing song that you might not understand what they say of you don’t know greek or french but you can understand that there is a story and emotion. We saw how the Sweden jury closed his eyes so he can enjoy the song. This is a good classic song that reminds us of all classic eurovision (It reminfs me in a good way “in a moment like this “4th place)

i like the boy and girl but the french words are not good and i think it’s bad that they don’t speak french but they sing it, they can’t support it.
“without your love” with the cute guy should represent cyprus. if not, i also like “one thing i should have done”

Koufogiannis’ appearance doesn’t match his voice, but it’s an alright ballad–can’t see why it’s winning the poll though.

There’s no song or artist attract me, agree that the audition program’s bad not a Eurovision competition and the jury members only disturb whith their talk and they also show that they not can choose a good song/artist. Shame, shame, shame..

I guess we have nothing to worry about Cyprus being a threat to current favorites. It’s slightly awkward to see a country put in WEEKS (or in some cases: months – like Lithuania) to select a song just for it to not pass or do poorly in the semis.

None of these songs sound like they’ll make it to the final, which sucks so now I have to vote based on the second most important thing (their looks lol), and because of that Panagiotis should win
I quite like Without Your Love but I can’t stand his voice.
I voted vor Stone In A River, which I really like, although I don’t think that this would have a chance in Vienna.
My second vote went to Deila Den Agapo. I’d love to see a song in Cypriot in Austria and I think they would have the best chances at Eurovision.

I am really dissapointed at how the hell the Cypriot Jury selected their songs.
Songs like ”Right In”, ”Dawn” and ”Come and Fight for Freedom” could have done a lot better than these songs in the final.
We all know that Dila Den Agapw is Cyprus’ ONLY hope of qualifying so hope/pray that it wins.
That said, in my opinion Stone in a river is the best one there

The show should be called “Pick the least worse song for Cyprus so we can get at least 2 points” Not Eurovision song project.
The songs are ghastly.
it feels like the jury has removed any original song and what we have left is only middle of the road songs….non of them will make an impact at esc.

No one of the Cyprus artists has Eurovision class. Not eighter the songs. The format is horrible and the worst competition ever there the jury have their own show and the artist like marionettes did shameful audition. Cyprus not deserve to be in Eurovision at all
I think “Shine” by Minus One is the best of the 6 but I’m not sure if any of the songs are much good. I think “Shine” is one of those generic titles and I think it is too safe to use such a title. I am also reminded by “Lonely Planet” by Dorians (Armenia 2013), which isn’t a good sign because it didn’t place too well on the scoreboard (18th to be exact). So I’m not sure how well “Shine” will do for Cyprus in Vienna.

“Without your love” would have been a nice choice, if only the singer could actually sing. All of these are terrible really. That duet is the only bearable option.
So sad Ioanna isn’t there, that would be great comeback, I don’t know if Cyprus will get a place in the final with this.
